Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Where the hell is Global Warming when you need it? While our snowfall in Calgary hasn’t reached these proportions (yet), we did have the 3rd heaviest snowfall in February since they began keeping records. And given how much snow we’ve had in the first 3 days of March, I wouldn’t be surprised to see another record challenged. Oh, but I guess this is Climate Change.
But, but, but … Al Gore predicted this WARMING of the Arctic would change the Jetsream and FREEZE man(human)kind … just like in that “Documentary Film” … The Day After Tomorrow. You see … your sinful use of petroleum products has brought … The Beast From the East … and now the return of … The Polar Vortex even SOONER than Al Gore predicted. TODAY … is the Day After Yesterday that Al predicted our DOOM! Ohhhhhhh mammmma … we’re ALL gonna Dieeeeeee!!!
That closely resembles the winters in a Northern Ontario town I lived in 30 years ago.
This year in that town the snow mobile trails were closed…not enough snow.
One theory I would sooner believe than Goracle’s AGW is a shift in the poles.
Shame about that frozen guy towards the end. Doesn’t anybody own a hair dryer over there?
Oh, but I guess this is Climate Change.
That’s what we get for not taking Red Rachel’s carbon tax seriously. Pay up or stay frozen! Mind you, with all the hot air that the Dippers produce while the legislature is in session, I suspect that part of Edmonton will remain ice-free.
Lower the carbon tax and warm things up.
While we Canadians can laugh and joke about the weather because we live with this kind of climate aberration every few years all over the country, it is an entirely different problem for Ireland and the UK. In another month the lambing season will begin and a storm like this at that point will decimate Irish and British agriculture.
a storm like this at that point will decimate Irish and British agriculture.
That should make SJWs overjoyed. People shouldn’t be keeping animals in the first place and anything that harms agriculture reduces the carbon footprint. What’s not to like for an SJW?
Forget Climate Change, it is Global Warming measured in feet not inches.
Snow will be a thing of the past…
Even as the laurentian ice sheet reestablishes our Liberals will be bragging how effective their carbon tax is..
And the IPCC Team will be shrieking that hot is the new cold and up is down, but their computer projections are perfect 100 years out, this time for sure.
Is it any worse than the winter of 1946-7?
Keep one thing in mind my friends:
Increased snowfall in one place does not mean increased snowfalls everywhere. Hereabouts, the snowpack is 40% down for the year from AVERAGE. Last year was a record breaker.
Mind you, I am NOT a warmist by any stretch, just pointing out that just as weather > climate, so to “local > global”
I still delight in seeing videos like this one though that shove their AGW driven prognostications right back into their smarmy, smug faces.
