  1. sigh . . . . . . in the tradition of the WE charities and SNC Lavalin.
sure looks like we’re in for a SOLID librano majority !!!!!!

    also, libranos hardly EVER ‘spend’.
    they predominantly INCREASE DEBT.
    see, thing is, ‘spending’ is by nature limited to . . . . .to . . . . . . . . .
available funds !!! wheeee !!!! such enlightenment !!!!
ah, but DEBT pffft. (they have only BEGUN on that count (pun intended) )

    1. I watched The Debt Crisis video by Ron Butler, the angry Mortgage Guy this morning and it does not bode well for Canada. The video stated that the current Bank of Canada rate is about 3%. If the countries holding Canada’s debt start to charge 6%, Canada is “so hooped!” But again, perhaps this will be a much needed correction. Our youngest brother was a Certified Management Accountant and had 2 sayings : ” Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered!” (do not be too greedy!) AND he also stated that people will keep borrowing to spend money they do not have until no one will be willing to lend to them (AKA the “Musical Chairs” theory) The only way to balance the budget will be to stop spending money, terrifically downsize all levels of government and to Stop with the foreign aid. It can be done, look at how Argentina is turning itself around.

  2. Prior to this, the only interviews I’ve watched with Marc Cahodes have been with Daniella Carbone when she was at Stansberry Research and now at ITM Trading

If Marc Cahodes testifies at committee in Ottawa, I expect whatever outrage or threat of repercussions result from it to be shut down the same as any other view into the corruption within the #Libranos and federal gov’t. At some point in the future an opposition member will rise in parliament to ask about this, and the gov’t side will respond with, “Mr. Speaker the Loyal Opposition doesn’t want the Gov’t of Canada to invest in Canada” … and there’ll be no real answers, again.

That is, my expectations are zero.
Though it’s interesting to hear Cahodes out, how refreshing to hear from someone who knows what’s going on and not afraid to call them out on it. As moot as that is.

*Some folks remarking on X that the PM of Brookfield has been X/Tweeting more in the past 24 hours than at any other time in his premiership. Perhaps he’s nervous about something?
