  1. 1.5 million Adelie penguins hiding undiscovered in the Antarctic? If we are to take these alleged scientists seriously, how in hell could they have missed such a huge colony, incompetence,or are they victims of their own politicization of nature in their zeal to panic over global warming?
We heard this same bullsh!t over polar bears a few years back, until a thorough examination of the issue proved the population is more healthy than it’s ever been. Of course the Inuit had told the scientists this for years but whose word should one take, a “scientist” from UVic or U of T,or some swarthy icebound wog? (I use that term not out of disrespect for the Inuit, but as a reminder of the attitude of the “educated” toward anyone outside their class.)
The Adelie penguins were dying, now they’ve found 1, 500,000 of them living in a heretofore undiscovered colony, probably hidden by the vast redwood forests of the region, and the almost extinct polar bear now numbers about 25,000 in Canada alone.
I’m not quite ready to panic yet, but I am getting sick of these usually taxpayer funded seekers of knowledge being SO wrong,SO often.

  2. Worse yet is the fact that a colony that size should be easily visible from a satellite. After all, it’s not the sort of thing that can be readily hidden, unless, of course, one is an SJW “scientist” which means one can’t find the broad side of a barn.

  3. Or… did they discover this colony years ago and decided to stay mute because it’s existence distracted from their Climate Change Armageddon proselytizing?

  4. “…a colony that size should be easily visible from a satellite …”
Satellite or no, it’s only visible if you look there. Which they didn’t because it was too remote and difficult to get to and they knew there weren’t any penguins there because they knew the penguin population is in decline because of climate change.

  5. Actually, I read on another article that they discovered the existence of this colony because of the large amount of guano that was visible from satetlite photos.
It is essential that we dispatch Climate Barbie to this location immediately to investigate (and take some photos).

  6. Then she would have to leave the doll house that is parliament today.
Don Morris, hang on to your wallet. They don’t want an accurate count as then they, Climate Barbie et al, would have trouble selling their snake oil.
    Ed Pyett, right, both times.

  7. Life, uh, finds a way – Michael Creighton / Jeff Goldbloom
Warmists create manmade disaster, manmade disaster destroys science, penguins inherit earth

  8. In one of Jasper Fforde’s books, he had the evil Goliath combine, having bought Antarctica, trying to figure out how to make money from it. And trying to sell penguin roasts, with the slogan “p-p-p-pick up a p-p-penguin”.
