Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

All you need to know about Intels “flaw” …
http://www.businessinsider.com/intel-ceo-krzanich-sold-shares-after-company-was-informed-of-chip-flaw-2018-1
I am as pro-business, pro-capitalism, pro-profit as you can get. But cheating, thieving, lying, and stealing has NOTHING to do with the invisible hand of free markets. Greed that trades on insider information has NO PLACE in our Capitalist economy. This transaction should be nullified … and the CEO made to EAT HIS LOSS … along with any and all other insiders at INTEL who sold-out JUST prior to this announcement. The corporate insiders should eat their own failings … not just the outsider-shareholders.
PS … keep an eye on what Tesla insiders are doing with their stock
all i can do is laugh and i am about to buy another new car. This will be the third in five years, don’t ask why. i just hope this next one will be the last one.
Sometimes business is fair. I once had a member of a supposed honest and honorable profession, hurt me financially. So, sometimes it’s unfair or quite simply maddening. One must expect the worst..and therefore not be disappointed. Tough lessons to learn.
in the mid 70T’s a son of the “president” of the company I worked for told me his uncle , a RC priest in south cal was worth over 2 million, oh yah, insider info in the “CONfession” booth:-)))
so, nothing new!!!
with a 30+ yr career in IT, I find this both amusing and alarming. I say it again, we need a 2nd alternate internet with the absolute best security and very limited access. *every* device on this ‘privateweb’ must be logged and identified in some sort of severely ultra secure database, and ONLY those devices get to talk to the rest of them. Servers, terminals, computers etc etc are also physically secured. every which way to sunday security, available to ONLY the ‘big players’, ie trillion dollar banks, intergovernmental comms, NASA, (well maybe not them, they can be real fcukups sometimes).
you get the idea. and yes it still isnt 100% guaranteed 100% of the time but ferfcuksake better than the WWW aka ‘Wild West Web’ we have now.
but it aint gonna happen, ‘oh the cost, the cost!!!’ cry the bean counters (and thus ignoring the COST paid by us grunts and schmucks whose private info winds up for sale.)
also, this isnt the end of it by a long shot. sign of the times folks, sign of the times.
p.s., if I give the finger to a self driving vehicle, does it still count?
Ya, a priest who invests and makes money has got to be immoral.
Is it possible to be anymore bigoted?
Or … heaven forbid (pun intended) … purchase a home that increases in value.
And, of course, no Pastor, Priest, or Reverend unilaterally, arbitrarily establishes and raises his own salary. Every (legitimate) Church has a Board of Directors, to establish pay and financial dealings and/or sends all major economic decisions to the membership. Not the same thing as selling $48 million in stock … the day before revealing damaging news about Intels work product.
And remind me … what do millionaire (on paper) Pastors have to do with a scum-bucket, insider-trading, thief of an INTEL CEO screwing over the equitability of the stock market ??

as opposed to the ones that just blow altar boys?

So IPv6 then?
