  3. I sorta wondered how lower court judges decided they were fit to create US foreign policy when the Constitution grants the power to the president and says nothing about tolerance or reasonableness. Judgement is a no brainer.

BTW … I just read the AP story to find out what the vote was … and NOWHERE in their article did they record or note the OVERWHELMING SCOTUS agreement 7-2 on allowing the FULL travel ban to take place. Nowhere. However, the article noted that ONLY Ginsberg (who should recuse herself from all cases involving Trump) and Sotomayor (out of her depth, Donnie) cast dissenting votes. The FAKE media simply cannot bring themselves to actually REPORT the news … oh… I don’t know … about things like ANOTHER RECORD-setting day on the Stock Market.

  17. Trump broke their PC crutch of critical theory, where biased belief formed the basis of the only acceptable opinion.
    Alinskyism was rebuked, the great unwashed demanded data not conclusions. Somehow Trump captured their emotional disdain for the establishment, who could only poo poo them and tell them their seasoned incompetence was their only reasonable option.
    Enough said no to progressive wisdom; that is currently driving them crazy, many left for the seminar and classroom back to uncritical theory.
    In any event, as witnessed by the need for neo-criminals in sanctuary cities, the deep state has no interest in the law, except to wield political power for themselves. They know the money always follows political power. Now our philosopher nitwits, I mean kings, pine for better automatons.
    Witness the various stonewalling of Congress over various investigations into banana republic tactics against political opponents.
    Start charging then with crimes. Look how inventive Mueller is? Surely, many could be caught in a similar net, perhaps Mueller himself?
    Definitely his henchmen, the ones signing off on Russian plea bargains and Russian dossiers, and looking the other way at Russian criminal enterprises acquiring uranium rights.
    Trump has burned their projection back onto them; and they’re helping him, all the while screaming like banshees for The View.
    Of course, over there, the evidence is building against racism, no sexism, no collusion, no obstruction of justice. Pathetic display.
    Trump wins. They lose. Why would that change in 2018 and 2020?
    I know, it depends on what movie you’re watching, including the fence sitting losers at the NR selling their party out.
    I think I will win my bet for lunch though, that Trump will survive (easy bet imho); we will see, fittingly on April Fools day.
    The Democrats used the sweeping powers of the leviathan state, justice, law enforcement, even tax collection, to harass and surveil political rivals. Pinochet would have blushed. Margaret Thatcher is rolling in her grave.
    My theory is they went all in to win and then nail a hapless Trump, tear his life apart with tales of his Russian agency and quick dispatch to Devil’s Island.
    Then he won and acquired all the assets of state they used to try to defeat and ruin him. The Dems think they can get it back now.
    They must wonder why the hammer hasn’t fallen yet. I’m wondering too. The Dems seem to be daring him with their never ending conspiracies.

    They’re decision reversals by the Supremes is currently running at 79%.

  19. I will admit it, I was wrong and at least some of you were right. The decision was overturned and overwhelmingly so. Gord pointed out what I had forgotten, that the 9th Circuit has a brutally high proportion of its decisions overturned. And the SC is usually highly sensitive to avoid compromising the powers of the different branches of government. The 9th Circuit decision would have compromised the ability of the Executive to manage the affairs of the nation on just about anything.

  26. he most definitely did not, he allowed lawlessness from the judiciary to stand. the supreme court judgement was not needed, it was moot because no laws were broken except by the judges.

  27. This travel ban is what the 4th or 5th version? I’ve lost count. Maybe Trump should read the constitution before writing EOs.
