I have complete confidence in Macron, Merkel and May,the “Three M’s” of Europe blocking any missile attack on us from North Korea,after all Canada is right next to Europe and the missiles would have to fly over EU airspace to be shot down by the latest French AM system.

Canada is an ingrate parasite nation. No other nation on Earth is more dependent upon the good graces of others for their survival. The USA provides Canada with their economy. The USA provides Canada with it’s national defence. The USA provides Canada with almost all of it’s tech since nothing is ever invented or innovated in Canada. The USA provides Canada with it’s entertainment, clothes, fashion sense, materials, machinery, markets, food, money and just about everything else.
All we want from you are some raw materials and natural resources at a fair price which is considerate since we own most of your industry anyway. But what do the vast majority of Canadian’s provide instead…snarky comments that demonstrate the pathological Canadian psyche regarding their own self-worth.

Conservatives are advocating the Liberals join the U.S. ballistic missile defence program, a change in position since their government under Stephen Harper never reversed the Liberal decision to decline participation.
It’s not as though the US didn’t OFFER missle defence for Canada … but the libs in Canada (including a feckless Harper) declined our offer. What’s a Superpower to do? Not to worry though … because I believe the Canadian libs have declared Canada as a Nuclear Free Zone (just like Berkeley CA)

Years ago I was privy to a conversation between a Russian, an American and a member of Nato in the President’s Hotel in Moscow.
The Russian bragged about how advanced Russian technology was and as his eye started twitching he explained he had an email coming into his retinal implant as they drank.
Not to be outdone, the American started bragging about American technology and then placed his finger in his ear as he received a micro-voice email from his ear implant.
Feeling a little outdone the Nato member walked to the washroom, dropped his pants and filled his underwear with toilet paper.
As he came out of the washroom the Russian noticed his pants and said “hey your pants are down at your ankles” and the American added “and your underwear is filled with toilet paper”.
The Nato member looked down and shouted “Hey. I must be getting a FAX!”.
I think that is what Steyn meant when he said that Nato is manning the FAX machine.
If Kim is going to nuke Toronto, I for one welcome our new North Korean overlord.
I wouldn’t worry too much about Toronto or Vancouver getting bombed by North Korea.

Maybe the mare of Vancouver (a communist) can reason with comrade Kim. Explain to him that Vancouver is a nuclear free zone and a sanctuary city. Surely Kim would be influenced by comrade Gregor and aim the missile at say Ottawa. A reasonable compromise.

I don’t think China would allow NK to bomb Chinese sovereign territory of Vancouver.
I would think Vancouver could be a potential target. Whatever missile shield protects Seattle, LA or the rest of US west coast would be weaker out towards Vancouver and it is a fairly significant port. And close to NK.
Toronto? Why bother? Bypass the west coast, bypass Chicago, come up a little short of NYC for … Toronto? Almost zero strategic or propaganda/fear value
