  2. My mother volunteered at the local elementary and middle school when I and my siblings were younger, and one of the things I remember her saying was that even among schoolteachers the librarians were known for being the hardest of hardcore commie ideologues.
    It seems odd. Something about controlling the repositories of information, maybe?

Our longtime (now retired -on a high 6-figure public pension) County librarian was married (since divorced) to a UC Berkeley Political Science professor (suffice to say he is Left of Che … and is also retired on a high 6-figure public pension) This librarian was oft “celebrated” by every leftist organization on the SPLC “LOVE” map. Yes, their buggy whip profession is still quite lucrative … for the very, very, few who can still find “employment”.
    And as an aside … my 1st grade teacher wife annually reads “Green Eggs and Ham” to her students … with a breakfast (that WE pay-for out of our pockets) of (food colored) Green Eggs and Ham breakfast. I just let her know how “racist” she has been for the last 30years. And I won’t even mention her love of the “Curious George” book serie … what a minefield the Left has set. Where is Princess Diana to remove the deadly mind-mines when we need her ?

  6. Now that I have read Iowahawk’s detailed revelation about this c()nt-librarian … I am even MORE enraged. The number of words she strung-together as a put-down to the Trump gift reads like a checklist of leftist propaganda. This woman is much less a librarian … than she is a hardcore leftist ideologue. Oh yeahhhhhh … she even has “studies” to prove the “superiority” of school districts with high-degreed Librarians on staff. Well I have studies that prove the one-room schoolhouse of the 19th century produced better educated students than your left wing identity-politic factories of leftist conformism. This pseudo-intellectual elitist-wannabe schoolmarm is RUINING our kids … setting them up for FAILURE … which she will blame on “capitalism”.
    BTW … I somehow managed to read, and reread, and re-reread “Go Dog Go” without ever desiring to attend a Michael Vick Dog Fight. I found ZERO racial politics when the same dog repeatedly asked … “do you like my hat”? Although that dog might have been mildly autistic. I obviously read the book through the lens of my extreme “white privilege”
    However … I must admit that the Cat and the Hat is a precautionary tale told to white children about what happens when you invite the unruly black man into your community. The Cat in the Hat is clearly a direct reference to the chaos and random violence of the Southside of Chicago. And the Cat, himself, looks remarkably like Obama.

  9. There is no school system; there is only a mess of federal and state laws layered with another mess of federal and state rules, layered further by whatever some judge feels like today – and you won’t vote. You just blame other people.

  10. As I listened to Boston’s Howie Carr go on about this letter, my first thought was that it was a parody. I mean I never saw this coming, it is right outta left field. We have to come up with something more caustic to mock moonbats. I have to give her props though, this isn’t your mundane poo flinging, this is elevated, maybe even creative, poo slinging.

  11. There is a lot of commie overlap because the public libraries feed at the government dole. Librarians at colleges… well, that’s not hard to imagine.
    It’s only librarians at private companies that stand a chance of escaping that, but that is a rapidly dwindling position.
    My mother worked for a library network so I got to hear about some of the crazy. (Unfortunately she believes in some of it.)

  12. Public Lieberries are daycare for life’s lefty losers and taxpayer provided after hours cheap hangouts for the marxist malcontents holding “meetings”.
    Repurposed into giving 24/7 full time vocational courses in making buggy whips would be money better spent

  13. As a librarian I would like to refute the aspersions and attacks on my profession but I honestly can’t. There are many non crazy librarians but as usual they work in non union libraries and are out numbered by the commies and Trudeau fluffers.

  16. So very, very, true … esp. the repurposing of libraries. My local town just spent a whopping $ 35 million (+ cost overruns) on a brand, shiny, new library. The building is virtually devoid of books … but has multiple “gathering places” and conference rooms where our local children are indoctrinated by professional leftist “storytellers”. Very much in the vein of Dark Age traveling minstrels teaching “history” through song to a largely illiterate public. Oh how things never change …

  18. I’m a grandfather now, but I have volunteered at a middle school for the last 4 years. I have seen it from the inside and I’m not crazy about what I saw.
    If you really want to know why so many parents are home schooling or borrowing money to send their children to private schools? Because of inept teachers. Not all but, way too many.
    Some are incompetent because they just can’t teach. They just can’t relate to the kids and they are not able to transfer info to the kids. It enforces the theory that if a person attends college, never cuts a class, the odds are pretty good they will attain a degree. Often, a masters.
    Others are incompetent because they have a different agenda. They are the ones remaking our children in the image of socialistic world view. In days past, your children were pretty safe until they left home for college, moving out from under your protective wings. Not any more. They are getting it from all sides, starting in elementary school. The commie librarian fits this mold.
    Where I live, the teacher unions are very strong. Very hard to remove a teacher for not teaching. Impossible to remove a teacher for putting leftist spin on subject matter.
