I am at the age where occasionally needing reading glasses has begun to morph into, “Okay…it’s time to go get a prescription for glasses.”
I hate labels.
I hate the 3 point type outlining how the world is going to end if you spill a drop of this on your clothes. Actually that part is just a guess as no known human over the age of 40 can actually read those damned labels.
Now I know where to direct my distaste.
Catt Gallinger is the reason for those labels.

Tattoos – anywhere – are a large red flag that says “I make bad decisions without concern for the long term consequences”.
They say you can’t fix stupid, but I disagree. We’re well beyond the early days of sterilization.
Hmmm…wonder if there was a money-back-if-you’re-not-satisfied guarantee? 😉
On the glasses thing; welcome to the club. The bad news is that it just gets worse (as the years go by.
Why, exactly, is getting a tattoo on your eyeball by an unqualified professional thought to be a good idea? I mean, if you can’t afford a professional to tattoo your eyeball than maybe you should wait. Most people, when asked about tattooing an eyeball, professionally or not, would strongly advise against it. Maybe I’m getting old but I would tattoo a lot of different body parts before I started on my eyeballs.

before we had all this government intervention,
nature would have constantly been thinning
the herd.
eat/drink too much or ingest dangerous substances?
early grave.
assinine risk-taking? horrible painful death.
commit horrific crimes against the field of folk?
rope, noose, tree.
kinda gets me all nostalgic and weepy.

So it’s a bad idea to get an eyeball tattoo.
Okay. Duly noted.
Well, if it makes you feel any better, she probably can’t read the warning labels, either – although we see to have pretty persuasive evidence that she wouldn’t even if she could.
If tattoos are a red flag (and I agree with Daniel that they are) getting your tongue split has to be a fire alarm and strobe light warning!
Continual glasses-wearer since High School, just got progressive lenses (wish there was another name for them; libertarian lenses?). So worth it being able to read without taking the glasses on and off.
Darwin, Call Your Office……….
Eye tattoos are like Socialism … this woman just hasn’t had her eyeball tattoo … “done correctly” … yet
A bit like the Dad who walks into his 15 year old son’s room and catches him playing with himself.
”Son, you know you can go blind if you keep that up.”
”Dad, I’m over here, at the other end of the room.”
Seriously, now don’t tell me, she’s going to sue the ”Tattooist.”
Vote Liberal.
FYI,
Bright light makes it easier to read the small print.
I carry a flashlight everywhere just for that reason.
Give it a try.
Well, eye-removal is one hell of a body modification! You’ll always have that.
Yep … and as soon as she gets her frontal lobotomy … her body modification work will be complete.
Hahahaha my catpcha … Bourg … how appropo for this story.
The real problem with western society is OHS (occupational health and safety). What has happened is that OHS has stopped a lot of Darwinism. So the trouble is now, the idiot’s survive and breed. Hence spreading the contagion which is stupid. We unfortunately will never hit bottom in our lifetimes, just try to enjoy the ride!
Almost as bright as people who sprayed sunscreen on their eyeballs to watch the recent eclipse: https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucelee/2017/08/26/for-the-eclipse-people-put-sunscreen-on-their-eyeballs/#24f4dbf15047
Losing an eye will turn out to be a plus for her. Now she will wear an eye patch and, given all the other tats and the split tongue, she’ll be a real pirate. Argh matey.
P.S. I would love to hear her speak (not at length but just a sentence or two). I’m certain a split tongue adds a certain flare and accent.
They laughed at me when I told them that mental illness is far more widespread than I previously believed.
Or she can get several glass eyes with different colours and swap them out to match her outfits.
Too bad no one suggested this before she had her eye ruined, she could have donated it for transplant.
I phoned her the other day, and asked her if we could meet at a diner for lunch, and so that I could interview her and get all the details of her condition for a magazine that I work for. We agreed to meet at Joe’s Diner in Graystone, Saskatchewan. I told her I was 5’10” tall, had grey hair, and wore a tan colored corduroy jacket and new Stetson cowboy hat.
”Ok” she replied. ”I’ll keep an eye out for you!”
In that whole article, two words fairly leapt off the page at me: pet nutritionist.
Knowing that and nothing else, one can extrapolate a whole life filled with stupid choices.
next up: tattooing your ear drum. after that, vocal chords and after that selected areas of the brain.
jeezuz murphy what a consumate dubmfcuk. I have a glasses prescription but can still do without,
I cringe at the thought of even contact lenses.
