That was one FANTASTIC photo of the “millenials” (whatever that means)listening to Comey and you could tell by the expression on their faces just exactly what he was saying when the photo was snapped. Love it.

It is funny but it’s also pretty sad how clueless and out of it, detached from reality, cognitively dissonant, etc. they are.
I consider myself intelligent and well-informed and I knew absolutely that this was all a nothingburger, political theatre, desperation. Trump’s clean as a whistle, a politicized IRS probably has an entire office building working on Trump for YEARS, trying to hang him, and the whole Russia thing is Democrat lies. I’ve been watching for it but, so far, there’s been no evidence of anything they can hang on Trump. Even when they fake up evidence it is quickly debunked (at least debunked in the eye of the competent observer).
When I stop on the street to chat with acquaintances and they drift the conversation along the lines of “Trump has to be removed, he’s dangerous”, I lean in close, look them in the eye, and say “oh no, Trump’s PERFECT”. Things fizzle shortly after that, I’m going to get a reputation…

I walked by some filthy prog millenial’s cubicle at work yesterday and he had a live video stream of Comey in the bottom right of his monitor. If I was his boss I would have fired him on the spot. Sorry – one can’t be productive and watch Senate testimony at the same time.

What kind of person goes to a bar to watch politics on TV?

I watched the Comey hearing on CBC, which occasionally showed tweets sent by viewers. One wit referred to listeners & viewers as “Comeytose” — an appropriate depiction of those millennials?
One of the things I learned after watching the hearing is how intelligent and to the point were some of the Republican senators’ questions, in contrast to Canadian senators (at least the few times I watched them in committee meetings, risking being lulled to sleep) AND to the Democrat senators’ questions. Democrat Mark Warren in particular delivered nothing more than a partisan harangue.
Something else I learned is how Comey was guided by impressions, uncertainties and feelings rather than facts. He must have said “I could be wrong” over 10 times. He didn’t have the courage to leak himself, he had a Columbia professor friend do it for him. Marco Rubio’s question was pertinent: isn’t it strange that the only thing that didn’t leak was the FACT the president himself was NOT under investigation?

Seriously, I was rarely in bars that early, even in my most “enthusiastic” era of libation, but I sure as hell wouldn’t waste day drinking on that outing.

I really try to “enjoy the decline”. It’s natural, organic, irreversible.
I have a business and good all-engaging hobbies which The Captain sez most lefties lack.
Our own Captain Kate certainly doesn’t let politics ruin her rich life which is why SDA is such a delight.

I’m sure those people have jobs should they actually choose to go to work. Unless someone actually watched the hearings they would never know that Trump was completely exonerated. The media isn’t giving it away.

I watch Hannity more now, since the Wash=Poo and the NY Slime; sorry can’t seem to help myself with using these firmly etched in the Politico’s spot; were involved in the Scam of trying to Regain Advertising Revenue by slagging Fox News. I miss O’Reilly’s Bomabasts and Screen Grabbing.
Any way most of the “wayback” and T.V. hanger’s are entertaining on Hanniity. The hard-at it Baier & Maccullum seem to be actually not rolling over as much when a Democrat Daily Talking Point Mouth says anything. Even Juan Williams does not receive as much obeisance.
Sort of a post BLM period in American Political Correctness. Possibly the Feckless Advertisers realized clicking heels for the Demos’ was also giving a finger to the other side.

Prior to the Hearing, my local (all leftist, all the time) TV news station was interviewing all the leftist Millennials queued up at the local bars gleefully hoping to witness their own personal WATERGATE! Woo hoo! Yes, beers at 9:30A San Francisco time. And the news stations were even MORE gleefully reporting that the Bar Owners were going to give out a FREE round of drinks each and every time that President Trump Tweets during the Hearing. It was delicious watching all the sad, crestfallen, faces of the disappointed Millennials. Ha ha! WRONG again! In my opinion … SHE should have bought a FREE round of drinks for each and every one of HER voters during the Nothingburger Hearing.
