that old “shall not be abridged” is still serious
    business to some folk…
“At least 11 states have passed laws allowing
the concealed carry of guns without a permit,
and 16 states have introduced legislation this
    year to do the same.”

  2. That is the single most effective thing a state can do to protect citizens from Jihad. Imagine knife wielding Jihadis rampaging through your average Texas town and how long they would last. It’s really sad that almost all governments are incapable of prevention all the while preventing their own citizens from doing so themselves.

  3. “We won’t allow terrorism to change who we are. And that’s a mistake.”
or change us back to who we were before …
Either way I get your point Kate.

“We won’t allow terrorism to change who we are. And that’s a mistake.”
it starts with changing your mindset… just say… “not me… not mine… not today”…
and then do something about it.

The Obama administration “systematically disbanded” law enforcement investigative units across the federal government focused on disrupting Iranian, Syrian, and Venezuelan terrorism financing networks out of concern the work could cause friction with Iranian officials and scuttle the nuclear deal with Iran, according to a former U.S. official who spent decades dismantling terrorist financial networks.
David Asher, who previously served as an adviser to Gen. John Allen at the Defense and State Departments, told the House Foreign Affairs Committee Thursday that top officials across several key law enforcement and intelligence agencies in the Obama administration “systematically disbanded” law enforcement activities targeting the terrorism financing operations of Iran, Hezbollah, and Venezuela in the lead-up to and during the nuclear negotiations with Tehran.
“Senior leadership, presiding, directing, and overseeing various sections [of these agencies] and portions of the U.S. intelligence community systematically disbanded any internal or external stakeholder action that threatened to derail the administration’s policy agenda focused on Iran,” he testified.

“Out-of-season cold blast to yield June mountain snow for western US
A blast of unseasonably cold air, gusty thunderstorms and mountain snow will spread across the West this weekend into next week.
A strong push of cool air will erase the buildup of warmth in the coastal Northwest prior to the end of this week. However, much colder air will soon follow and expand across more territory in the West.
“The pattern coming up for this weekend into early next week in the West is like a forgotten piece of March or early April,” according to AccuWeather Long-Range Meteorologist Paul Pastelok.”

  7. “Isn’t anyone worried about crazy jihadis getting guns?”
    Of course not.
    Because they already have them.

  8. @Lindal & JJM:
Samer el Debek, was born in the heart of Moslem land and his employment opportunities were slim, having no real talents other than Jihad. So, like all oppressed minorities, he came to America and became a citizen.
While living in Dearbornistan, MI, he found employment while enhancing his skill set: “He received a salary from Hezbollah through 2015, according to authorities.”
Along with team mate Ali Kourani of the Bronx, he received training in recruiting, bomb making, weapons handling, working in teams/groups, and intelligence gathering along with many other useful skills while employed. Foreign travel was part of his employment package and he is reported to have had a fine time in Panama where he visited the U.S. Embassy and the Panama Canal. (*Note: He obtained those weapons for self defense and/or hunting, including rocket propelled grenades and machine guns ’cause ‘you never know’ and ‘you can’t have too much fire power’.)
His full resume (all 7 counts) is here:

But hey, did you hear the latest about Catlyin…….

  9. “Isn’t anyone worried about crazy jihadis getting guns?”
I seem to vaguely remember someone who bought an unregistered pistol. “It’s not to defend myself – the police are going to find it in the hands of the guy I cut in half with my shotgun when he’s breaking into my house.”
Every criminal has an illegal gun. Don’t you watch police news video from drug busts?

  10. I just sent my MP Kelly Block an email expressing my extreme displeasure at the CPC supporting this climate change fraud.

  11. Ken, consider yourself lucky you have a Conservative MP. I have the misfortune of living in a riding which voted the same Dipper into office for at least 2 elections.

  12. “Election disaster”, “Election disaster”, Election disaster”…
Oh really? The arrangement Theresa May has to make with the DUP from Northern Ireland might actually work out well for the forgotten people.
The DUP appear to at least be rational adults.
An “Election disaster” would have been Corbyn making an arrangement with a small party of idiot leftists

  13. This article shows how the UK police with an estimated 3,000 jihadis and all the terror they are experiencing still choose to go after anyone on social media that dares to criticize islam and the muslim death squads. Remember this is the police that with their chief constable and commissioner allowed thousands of young girls to be sex-slaved by muslims in Rotherham and other UK cities for decades and prosecuted their parents for daring to complain! PM May was Home Secretary for 6 years and in charge of this lot.

“lindal says… Isn’t anyone worried about crazy jihadis getting guns?”
linda… do you really think the “crazy jihadis” jump through all the
governmental hoops and roadblocks and police background
checks required to legitimately acquire a firearm?
curiously… if firearms do cause crime, it appears as though
mine must be defective. it’s also important to note, that
former ontario liberal attorney general michael bryant’s car
has killed more people than all of my guns combined.

  15. How cute: you both think it matters.
I think it matters, at least a little, which party is in power. With all their faults I prefer the Conservatives to their awful alternatives.
Are you one of those people who thinks nothing matters?

    http://anotherdayintheempire.com/surveillance-state-big-brother-trump/
Despite his opposition to surveillance during the campaign, Trump has flip-flopped once again and now supports the surveillance state.
His Homeland Security advisor, Tom Bossert, who worked with the Bush administration, penned an editorial for The New York Times this week calling for a reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Section 702 allows for vacuuming up emails, instant messages, Facebook messages, web browsing history, and more in direct violation of the Fourth Amendment.
Former NSA Director Gen. Keith Alexander and Intelligence Committee chairman Mike Rogers have repeatedly claimed NSA snooping has thwarted 54 terrorist attacks. This claim has been completely debunked. Like the baseless and politically motivated claim Russia hacked the election, the 54 terrorists claim is little more than fiction. It’s propaganda to justify a surveillance state.

“President Donald Trump celebrated the opening of a new coal mine in Pennsylvania, sending a recorded video to miners for the ceremony.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be speaking with you on this great, great day,” Trump said in the video.

  19. “As previously reported, Tillerson, a former president of the Boy Scouts of America, was stated to be instrumental in the organization’s decision to allow openly homosexual scouts and leaders.”
How is it that the Girl Guides don’t allow heterosexual male leaders (yet)? For instance this from a woman on a UK parenting website:
“So I raised my hand and interrupted the speaker, asking if a male could ever be a Brownie/Guide leader. The room was full of ten other women, and they all looked at me like I was an alien! The speaker was a bit flustered, saying she’s not entirely sure as a man has never volunteered and she’d have to look it up properly. . . . But it started a little mini convo where one of the women said, ‘Let’s be serious, would you send your little girl to brownies if a man was in charge?’ ”
Yet homosexual scout leaders for boys are here to stay! This mania to normalize homosexuality is contributing to our ruin and many like Tillerson (and Trump?) are proud to be part of it!
