  1. We here in NW Airdrie Alberta got more snow than we have had in the previous half decade. I bought a snowthrower 2years ago in anticipation and have only used it twice.(mostly just testing capabilities and equipment familiarity,I’d rather shovel and get the exercise than pay for the gas for my machine, I’m a cheapskate that way and exercise is a good thing+you always have to shovel anyway if you think like I do, can’t let the snow get a beachhead by leaving swathes of resistance)
Anyway, snow is a Canadian heritage and I don’t expect that part of my heritage to be passed away by a simple wave of the hand by government, regardless of the government’s hallucination that Global Warming is going to allow me to grow pineapples in my back yard.(I wish)

  2. +-1 sigma only covers about 68% so being outside of that can still be considered fairly normal. Not extreme like the climate Puritans.

  3. Interestingly enough, we got almost no snow here in northwest BC. I only started my snowblower once for about 4 inches. Everything else was just a skiff or rain. Usually we get upwards to 2 feet of snow over the winter and smoe years much more. GLOBAAAAAAAL WAAAAAAAARRMMMING!!!!!!!!!

  4. Yeah, normal, situational, area specific, not Global. In other words, local weather not Global Climate.

  5. Well I shovelled a whole lot of Glowbull warning out of my driveway this morning, about 20 inches worth of Justins BS.

  6. The corrupt environutters changed the narrative, it’s no longer Glowbull Warming, it’s Climate Change, a nebulous term, applicable to any rain storm, snowfall, fog event, cool weather, warm weather, wind, or dry spell that may occur at anytime. For that, we now have to pay penance, a carbon tax, that was supposed to save us from rampant uncontrollable warming, but apparently CO2 can now be blamed for everything. See, that’s sciency stuff, for the 50% of the population with below average intelligence! The sheeple that accept every word uttered by Suzuki and Bill Nye, the mechanical engineer guy

  7. “Bill Nye, the mechanical engineer guy”
Reckon you could handle a car designed by him?

  8. Heh, indeed.
The graph perfectly represents what conveniently happens to inconvenient data that ideologically-tainted climate scientists don’t want us to see.
Also, Kate, thanks for the link for yesterday’s GIF of the smug little bugger getting his. Again, a perfect fit for the entire left’s thinking that they had FINALLY won one over Trump then to discover a crushing defeat yet again(yeah, still makes me smile). I have shared it with friends, one of whom claimed your choice was “contextually perfect”. I thought that was a compliment worthy of passing on.
