It’s no big letdown when you hope to be proven wrong.

The news media are playing up that there is a wave of “populism” spreading in Europe like it’s a bad thing. It’s just that people there are fed up with the aggressive Muslims who are flooding in.
A record turn out is probably not what the ruling elites wanted to see. It is still along shot but stranger things have happened recently.
Holland, I fear, is now South Sweden.

Recently a’lefty’ relative living in Holland referred to Wilders as a Trump wannabe.
I had to laugh. Wilders has been speaking out for a lot longer than Trump has been in politics.

The Dutch can be sissies these days. Wilders put his life on the line quite literally to save the Netherlands and if the Dutch are too cowardly and stupid to accept the offer then they get what they deserve.

The purpose of exit polls is to influence new voters.
That said, Holland has the reputation of being the most tolerant of European societies.
If Holland has lost their “tolerance” for the intolerant Mohammadans, then the election of Geert Wilders and his party to government will represent a high water mark for the neo-Muslim invasion.
This Nederland election could become synonymous with the Gates of Vienna 9/11, win or lose.

When it comes to standing up to Islam, the Netherlands is ahead of Canada. Where is our Wilders? He may not win this round but that doesn’t mean that the Islamification won’t continue unnoticed. Canada is more like all of Europe than the Netherlands. The GTA is like the Netherlands. Some parts of Canada will become Islamophied, and they will be cut off like a gangrenous leg. At some point Canada will have to split up to preserve traditional Canadian values in the Western provinces, while the East becomes a muslime shíthole like parts of Europe will.
Rutte appropriated a lot of Wilders’ message to win, now let’s see if he’ll act accordingly.
Its not that bad SDA: PM Rutte lost 8 seats, while Wilders gained 5 (the Pvda, Social-Dems, lost 29 seats)!. Geert is clearly knocking on the door here, and isn’t going away (does anyone imagine that he will not continue to gain election wins, given that outrages that are sure to occur in Holland over the next five years?).
Personally, I feel his view on closing mosques is an abrogation of natural right, and presumably would not prevail against a legal challenge. But his immigration restrictions are very popular in the Netherlands, and will continue to be so.
