Escherichia coli is killed by the heat of cooking, thus E coli contamination of processed foods is usually from poor hygiene of low wage immigrant employees who don’t thoroughly wash their hands after wiping their ass.

I avoid anything marked as “organic”. I wouldn’t buy it if it cost LESS. Sure not going to pay more for it. Looks like I’m the smart guy.

I’m assuming that’s the bacterium that causes shigallia and it’s easily cured with a one-dose tablet.
The trick is, to take the pills before the disease manifests itself. Once the symptoms show up it’s too late.
And damn, is it a bitch if you don’t catch it in time. I used to know a couple of guys who got it in a long-term facility for the retarded that I used to work in.
High fevers, terrible chills and absolutely insanely horrible diarrhea. For. Days. And it plays hell on your digestive tract for weeks afterwards. They were reduced to ripe bananas and soft rice pudding as their only solid food.
