  1. Someone please take the internet away from lance before he breaks it.
Kate is the original , she has the best titles , it’s her blog . Lances stuff is rarely interesting and has a usual lefty slant. Although I do agree with his vaping stance it’s rediculous to ban it .

  2. Lance isn’t a lefty, he’s a neo-con. I disagree with many of his views as well. To his credit, he is a staunch fiscal conservative for the most part.
I wonder if Lance supports, say, must-issue concealed carry permits for Canadians?
As far as the teddy bears are concerned, the buyers had it coming to them.
    Caveat Emptor, and all that.

  3. Most humans are dumb.
they buy internet connected things from teddy bears to smart tv sets and it never crosses their small mind that those things can be used to spy on them, or that those things can be hacked.
Informed people have known for many years that the camera and/or the microphone on your laptop or smart phone can be turned on remotely by people we don’t even know exist.
or that the only reason things such as ” the cloud ” exist is to more easily look at your personal stuff without you ever knowing it.
A zebra too dumb to run away from the lion gets eaten.
At times I wish stupid humans paid a higher price for their stupidity, those people are a waste of oxygen, they are simply dead weight, they are simply making life less pleasant for the rest of us.
they are the reason an owner’s manual has 5 pages of warnings such as ” do not use this tv set in the swimming pool or in the shower” but only 1/2 a page of useful information.
do we really need those imbeciles around?
    I know I know! very harsh words…

  4. Humans have been dumbed down by government lawyers and insane safety regs.
I’m surprised cutlery doesn’t have warnings yet: “Do not forcefully insert into eyeball.”

  5. Spoons- “overuse of this product has been shown by the State of California to cause obesity”.

  6. Well, we must then ban tablespoons, and only allow teaspoons to be sold, or better yet, them tiny sugar spoons some folk use.
For the children, yadda yadda yadda….

  7. You are correct; half of the people out there are dumber than average, and you know how stupid the average person is. Protecting these people from harm only ensures they breed more idiots.

  8. What’s needed is a drug with a high like fenatal or oxy that renders users sterile; then give it out free to addicts and other fools. Warning on pkg states: will cause sterility. The stupids will consume it and breed themselves out of the pool.

  9. All we need to do is stop molly-coddling them. We don’t need to put them up against the wall.
Leave them to their own devices, and they get killed, without us having to do a thing. The problem is the state breeding more and more of them with its stranglehold on us.
I wonder how many here know who John Galt is? Its a recurring theme in libertarian thinking, Galt, Heinlein’s “Competent Man”. Many statists use this fact to say that folk are too dumb to be free. Myself, I disagree, but then again, I don’t care if folk die due misadventure brought on by ignorance.

  10. The science fiction author Larry Niven suggested a similar way to deal with nuclear waste:
Put it all behind a fence, with a sign saying “If you cross this fence, tou will die of cancer caused by radiation”, and let Darwin take care of it.

  11. All we need to do is stop molly-coddling them.
Exactly!! Dead addicts can take care of themselves. Plus that would free up space in the health care queue for people who can be healed.

  12. JOHN GALT, author and colonizer;
    b. 2 May 1779 in Irvine, Scotland, son of John Galt, a ship’s captain, and Jean Thomson;
    d. 11 April 1839 in Greenock, Scotland. Among other notable accomplishments he founded the town of Guelph Ontario, and was responsible for the early development of the region.
…were you thinking of a different John Galt?

  13. Yes!
It would also free up law enforcement to go after folk who are a danger to others, as opposed to those who are only a danger to themselves. Better yet, just use it to spend less money on law enforcement. We don’t need cops to stop us from say, selling home-made to our friends.

  14. Is anyone preventing you from posting your drivel?
Is anyone forcing you read anything you don’t like?
So, STFU criticising the blog hosts, it’s rude and uncalled for.

  15. Japanese has 39 different words for ‘suicide’, yet none of them convey any moral judgement.
Our foolish society feels it has to save every misfit from themselves. In the past those regressive traits were naturally ‘weeded out’ of the gene pool.

  16. Rance a neo-con, ewe are Joe King, rite. Lance his self has said he was a fiscal con and a social lib, and I say NO such animal can exist, as did 2 pundits who wrote on that shortly after he posted said stupidity. Libs are cheep basturds who pretend to care for others with your tax dollars in hope they benefit themselves in the process. Or they are just virtue signaling with your tax dollars.
As to topic at hand, I told my SIL more than 20 years ago, AIR GAP, anything you don’t want some 14 yrs old bored kid to hack. Said SIL is an IT guy with a above average IQ, so it only took him about 10 to figure out I was correct:-)))
