I remember his speech at the 2004 Democratic convention and I was quite impressed. I knew that he would become president one day.
What I didn’t expect was that he really didn’t mean what he said and I couldn’t quite figure out why, after he was elected, he went against much, if not all, that he said in that speech.
Many used car salesmen also give good “speeches”….but they are at the end of the day……car salesmen. It’s easy to talk. And if people put aside their brains while listening to people like Obama, you can see how many people voted for him. So it took a few years for people to get their brains back and finally realize what a bunch of nonsense he was blathering.
He was the perfect Manchurian (Islamist, Eco-Socialist) Candidate … a clean, well-dressed, well-spoken black man with couple of cute kids (cr. to Joe Biden). Just as he was the perfect Affirmative-action Harvard student (with no evidence of the grades that got him there). Obama was a vessel for several different political ideologies … most of which FAILED spectacularly during the Jimmy Carter years. So, now this empty-vessel of a speech reader can go down as an even WORSE president than Jimmy Carter.
I think that Obama will go down in history as being the worst president in US history however I am always curious as to how he got there in the first place. Were Americans suddenly stricken with brain dead disease that got him through two elections.
I would suspect that a lot of the over-the-top and hateful attacks by leftards directed at Trump are really misdirected anger at Obama’s utter failure as President.

Mr. Trump doesn’t see the need to provide prayer rugs and false idols in a house built by Christians. Washington DC offers a diverse cultural center for worship of any kind. You won’t find any special considerations for Judaism or crucifixes to appease Catholics, either. There is a simple chapel with a single cross on one wall that is suitable for prayer by anyone. Our government doesn’t need to be forcing prayer rituals down people’s throats just so we don’t offend people looking to blow us up.
