I took my bachelor’s degree from DePaul. I stopped giving DePaul money immediately after it conferred an honorary degree on Jesse Jackson. The university does continue to send me mail. The only good news is that the university’s president, who, as far as I can tell, has been responsible for DePaul’s refusal to support the free speech rights of its students, will be leaving in 2017.
They get their money from government, so unless you stopped paying taxes, you are still giving them money. Government destroys everything they touch; who thought it would be a good idea to put them in charge of education?
Perhaps trump – like Kennedy did with black students – can guarantee their safety and call out the national guard to protect this who wish to express their opinions on campus. Just saying it might shame these universities to do their job.
Really, the only thing to do with these morons is give them provocation upon provocation to work their tiny rage upon.
The more rioting and burning stuff there is at Lefty universities, the less inclined people are going to be to send their kids there. Bankruptcy will follow, as even a government funded school can’t operate with zero students.

I know that this requires very high level thinking, which is in short supply at our institutions of higher brainwashing these days … but … here’s an idea … how about summarily expelling any student guilty of violent conduct at any of these events ? And for the less squeamish … expel any student who pulls fire alarms, or shouts-down a presentation as denying the 1st Amendment freedom of the speaker ? Students will still be able to hold all the non-violent, non-vandalist protests outside the meeting hall to their hearts content. And everyone’s 1st Amendment Rights remain intact. And if the perp’s. are NOT students ? Jail and Fines. Are we a nation of Laws ? or Noam Chomsky anarchy ? Well, Mr./Ms. College President ?
I have a feeling that Colleges are pricing themselves out of the marketplace anyway. They’ve gotten FAT off the welfare of “Obamakkare” student loans … which is (hopefully) about to end. The colleges are delivering degrees more worthless than an (unaccredited) Trump “University” degree … for quite a bit MORE taxpayer funding.

Something I’ve believed for a great many years is that Democrats are more akin to the National Socialist German Workers Party than they are to any other political entity. It is now evident to anyone with a reasonable amount of cognitive ability to look back at the history of Germany after the First World War and see the similarities with the rise of the NAZI party and the behavior of today’s Democratic organizations. The pattern is almost identical with the exception of the speed of the process. Hitler tried to implement his ideas through a, for want of a better word, a calendar scheduled “forced” agenda. Today’s Democrats have adopted a more sinister agenda, a slowly implemented program of creeping incrementalism. This incrementalism began back in the Fifties and has been slowly instituting the beliefs of the NAZI party into our society. With the latest referendum of Brexit and the election of Trump we may have reached a point where the general public is starting to finally realize where the Democrats have been leading us. I can only hope that the “Awakening” continues.
