    Not a change of topic, but when did “not my style” become “this must be banned”? My question comes back to the question of whether “tolerant” means “They disagree with me, but that’s OK, they’re allowed to disagree with me.”
    Picking up my son at the scouts Remembrance Day ceremonies made me think of this… why are veterans smoking outside, in the rain? Why did they fight?

  10. Trump can end the United States’ participation in the Paris climate agreement either directly or indirectly. Directly, he can “unsign” the agreement. Regardless of the text of the agreement, because it has not been ratified by the U.S. Senate as required by the Constitution, it has no force of law in the United States. And because the treaty sets only voluntary goals with no legal enforcement mechanism, other countries have no legal way of enforcing the agreement’s terms on the United States.
    Indirectly, Trump can scuttle the country’s participation by reversing Obama’s climate actions and not replacing them with alternative climate policies. If Trump does this, U.S. participation in the Paris climate agreement dies from neglect.

  11. Not only was it not ratified by the Senate, it was signed by Obama through an executive order. Anything Obama put through by executive order can be undone by Trump the same way. In fact, Trump could void all of Obama’s executive orders with a single executive order of his own.

The press immediately noticed the color and asked what it represented. Clinton spokespeople claimed it was to represent the coming together of Democratic «Blue America» and Republican «Red America» into a united purple blend. This statement was a complete ruse as is known by citizens of countries targeted in the past by the vile political operations of international hedge fund tycoon George Soros.
    The Clintons, who both have received millions of dollars in campaign contributions and Clinton Foundation donations from Soros, were, in fact, helping to launch Soros’s «Purple Revolution» in America. The Purple Revolution will resist all efforts by the Trump administration to push back against the globalist policies of the Clintons and soon-to-be ex-President Barack Obama. The Purple Revolution will also seek to make the Trump administration a short one through Soros-style street protests and political disruption.
    It is doubtful that President Trump’s aides will advise the new president to carry out a diversionary criminal investigation of Mrs. Clinton’s private email servers and other issues related to the activities of the Clinton Foundation, especially when the nation faces so many other pressing issues, including jobs, immigration, and health care. However, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz said he will continue hearings in the Republican-controlled Congress on Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, and Mrs. Clinton’s aide Huma Abedin. President Trump should not allow himself to be distracted by these efforts. Chaffetz was not one of Trump’s most loyal supporters.

    I would never say anyone is “allowed” to disagree with me, and I will disagree with anyone who says I am allowed to disagree with them. I have no power or authority to allow or not allow anyone to disagree with me and no one has power or authority to allow or not allow me to disagree with them. People can disagree, so it happens. It can rain, so that happens, too.
    And some will disagree with me about this.

  17. I see that the “Ontario Undegraduate Students Association” is now campaigning for universities to get rid of merit-based scholarships and asking the Ontario government to forbid universities to use public funds to use merit-based scholarships to attract able students.
    At the universities, we now all agree that “merit” is, in and of itself, racist, colonialist, misogynist, anti-LGBTQWERTY, and “scary”.

  22. Kellie Leitch had her garage broken into? Probably 1/2 the urban population in this country have had a similar experience. Hell spud had his house broke into. I think his family was home asleep at the time. Oh yeah it wasn’t a real break in – spud forgot to lock the house….with his family inside….kinda like the way he governs – forgets the details.

  27. Turned the TV to CBC to see how they are dealing with the US election…..it’s front to back vitriol with select analysts who are crazier’n outhouse rats and as biased as they come.
    It is so bad, I am tempted to slum it a bit longer and experience the full craziness to see how bad it can get. If I do not report back….please send a rescue party.
