In a stunning new column, Victor Davis Hanson indicts Hillary & Bill Clinton and the entire American political system:
The Clintons suffer from greed, as defined by Aristotle: endless acquisition solely for the benefit of self. With their insatiable appetites, they resented the limits that multimillionaire status put on them, boundaries they could bypass only by accumulating ever greater riches. The billion-dollar foundation squared the circle of progressive politicians profiting from the public purse by offering a veneer of “doing good” while offering free luxury travel commensurate with the style of the global rich, by offering sinecures for their loyal but otherwise unemployable cronies, and by spinning off lobbying and speaking fees (the original font of their $100-million-plus personal fortune and the likely reason for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s decision to put all her communications, mercantile included, on a private server safe from government scrutiny). Acquiring money to the extent that money would become superfluous was certainly a Clinton telos — and the subtext of the entire Podesta trove and the disclosures about the Clinton Foundation.

The more you read Victor Davis Hanson, the less stunning that column is. I mean, he always writes very well, and is that good at thinking about these things.

I just told a friend. I hope that the little good guys with the white hats really have the goods on these people that will wake up the sheeple. Sadly, this article reads like an epitaph. An epitaph for America. A brilliant and insightful description of our next POTUS. Yet an announcement of our collective acquiescence to pure evil. Sure, SHE may be illicitly wealthy, and SHE lies, and HATES, and schemes, and grifts, and cheats, and distorts, and extorts … but in the words of Pharrell … “so do we”. So THIS is what America has become. We are all just like HER. SHE is the mother of all TAKERS … and we all want to be … just. like. HER.

VDH has always been a good writer and thorough thinker. Ditto for everyone I have ever read at Belmont club. The inescapable fact remains, the elephant in the room; the majority of people will still vote for evil given the choice. It truly is a choice between Trump, and necrotizing fasciitis; and necrotizing fasciitis still looks like the winner. There is no saving anything in a world like this. The USA’s final chapter has already been written. Canada’s, UK’s, France’s, the western world is in the final terminal phase of the disease that Marxism is. It’s at the point where I regret having children. Their world will look more like Hunger Games than what I grew up in.

As hopeful as I’ve been over the last couple days, you know, with some polls tightening in CO NV NH MI PA. I was jerked back to reality this morning listening to VDH.
Hillary can’t loose, she won’t loose. They(Dem team) have known for some time that this election IS the pivot point, where no return is possible, no recover back to the way things were. Hillary will win this election, WHAT EVER IT TAKES. Whatever lies have to be told, however many times a person needs to vote, however many mail ins or absente ballots need to get lost or exchanged for the “proper” ones, no matter how many machines need to be altered or recalibrated, Hillary must win and will win.
They’ve waited so long to reach this point, to have total control, to open the boarders and secure perpetual victory. To jack all the money you can’t possibly dream of. They worked so hard over the last 40 years to get their people in powerful media positions. Then the damn internet came along and they had to get control of that too, essentially facebook, google, apple and microsoft, and through in the fascism of twitter.
There was a close call during the Romney Obama debates, but Crowley was quick to shut down the betwixted Romney before he started calling this whole debate rigged, right there on live TV. I think Trump would have, and the cameras would have kept rolling. Romney was way too nice, and they knew it. I think that’s how they knew the pivot point was here and they had enough people in control, that they could, with the help of the media, destroy someone as nice and good as Romney. I’m not saying Romney is conservative, Trump isn’t either, but what counts is that neither are Democrats.
Hillary can’t loose, she won’t loose,,,,I say sadly. I don’t want to live next to a third world nation, because very quickly Canada will be a third world nation.

There are at least wo things going on in western society – and they may well be the same thing…or certainly joined at the hip.
First of all, we have reached critical mass: there are more people using the government system in one way shape or form than those who are contributing. The other thing (and this entire campaign is a testament to it) is the incredible shallowness, selfishness, stupidity, cowardice and banality of a large chunk of the population.

VDH is one of my favourite scribes. He has never let up on Obama who has had pretty much a free ride thanks to this campaign.
The Evil one will either go into the White House to continue looting the nation (financially and morally), protected from the rule of law by the corruption that surrounds her or she goes to the Big House under a Trump Administration after the DoJ gets fumigated. I don’t like Trump but if I were an American, I would vote for him for that reason alone.
