…and WTF with the ‘new’ captcha all foreign roadsigns and no short numbers
    what a PITA

  2. Carbon Pricing: How to Raise the GST for Dummies
This is all part of ongoing Lieberal programs to undo all the Conservative changes they can. If they had tried to boost the GST back to previous levels there would be complaints from the rank-and-file. This way they can blame it on Paris and ‘ClimateChange’ and Lieberal sheeple will buy it like taking bitter medicine or penance for sinning.

  3. Callers from within Canada that know you would simply leave a message on voicemail or a text for you to call them back,
    And
You could invest in a dual SIM card phone that switches from, say, a 7/11 cheap pay as you go SIM to ATT at your whim.
    Im looking into it.

  4. Lindal,
If that’s the case, they should text you to phone them back on your dime. That’s how we handle it with our Canadian relatives …they text “Call me” and we call them on our unlimited / no roaming T-Mobile plan. Try it ….there’s no contract so if you don’t like it you can change carriers at any time because YOU own the ‘unlocked’ phone, not them.

  5. “You have a lot of boycotting to do.”
Plainly that’s not the case. Fortunately, Alinsky tactics work in both directions: Rule 12 – Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy.
You only need to pummel one of the miscreants mercilessly for the others to sit up and take notice and perhaps mend their ways. I see via CBC that Telus is whimpering and back peddling already. Not time to let off on the pressure however.
My trusty flip phone just packed it in and it was tied to Telus. This presents an opportunity to go into my local Telus office and let them know exactly why they’ve lost my business (plus another company offers a better deal!)
OH and RBC. I’ve been a shareholder, though I’ve converted RBC to cash recently. Nonetheless, it’s also an opportunity to let RBC know that I’ll consider other alternatives as I realign my portfolio.
