Michelle Rempel has not been following the comment threads at National Post etc. A constant theme for the Liberal trolls is how PM Harper was hiding in the closet during the terrorist killings on parliament hill. You would think that worry about who is in the closet and who is not in the closet would be a low priority for our open-minded progressives but apparently not.

  2. There is no solid evidence that the PM was ever ”whisked” into a closet on XXXX during an attack on Parliament Hill. This is most likely another CBC fabrication of lies, much like little Alan Kurdi who was reported to have died on the Turkish beach while trying to seek refuge in Canada. The CBC knew bloody well that no solid evidence or paper work existed to prove that, however they used the fake story to bash the Conservative government of Stephen Harper, much like they used the closet story to bring Harper down and help their perverted friend who loiters at gay parades, sniffing anus when he should be directing the government.

    But, of course, if it had been the Liberals we can see Rambo Trudeau opening the door and the shots bouncing off his body as he rushes the killer and takes him down. That, of course, is what his juvenile followers see.

    A honourable man died that day. He left a son.
    He was standing, unarmed, silent at the most civic of memorials Canada has.
    He was ambushed.
    The perpetrator then, using the freedoms of our democracy, went into our House of Parliament with minimal resistance. He was stopped in the hallway outside the doors that our entire gov’t, opposition and lesser parties were gathered in.
    Many, many shots were fired. Fired within yards of those politicians. Those politicians knew they were the target. Knew that if he had a bomb, they were dead.
    And here, we have a classless twit celebrating and profiting off of that day. Off of those PTSD inflicted MP’s. Off of that little boy. Off of Nathan Cirillo.
    If you don’t understand the gravity of that day, the possibilities of what could have happened. If you don’t understand the distaste this leaves in the mouth.
    Well, I feel for you, for you are a psychopath.

From what I understand Crotch is a “CBC comedian” which pretty much guarantee’s that he isn’t funny, which of course he isn’t. Being a “CBC comedian” is like being an “official comedian” of the Liberal Party so I guess the hapless turd is just playing to his audience. It sure is irritating that i have to contribute to paying for this assholes wages.

    I will listen to comedians of ANY political/ideological stripe if they are clever and witty. I especially like to enjoy Canadian and British humor, often, the more on the fringes of political correctness and good taste, the better.
    I tried a few times over the years to watch This Hour has 22 Mins, but am always immediately reminded that their humor is as aggendized as their Mother Corp’s news. That’s when I could find something laugh worthy, not just insults aimed at conservatives with a knowing wink and nod at their PC riddled audience. Too much mind-numbing garbage to sift through to find the rare gem they produce. The exact same reasons I can’t stomach Rick Mercer.

Another alleged CBC “comedian” like state supported rick mercer. all these assholes sit around at the same cocktail parties or keggers or whatever the central canadian “entertainment” elites like to call their circle jerks . They sit around and drink each others bath water and reassure each other how “funny” or “creative” they are.
    They are at best . In a sort of bottom rung third worldish way. Our Film industry has some of the best Technicians in the world yet any Canadian film is immediately recognizable due to lack of direction and completely inane scripts. Reaction shots are stretched to the max to give the above the line production clown’s latest poke the maximum screen time.
    Bollywood does it better and actually built a successful film industry. here we have the creative circle jerk controlling all production funds and we get unwatchable crap.
    Send crotchmark and mercer off to receive the career counseling they both deeply need . and restore market forces in our film and television industries

  42. My CPC MP was in the room during the attack. He told me that PM Harper’s security took over as soon as they realized what was happening. Harper did not direct anything. The doors were barricaded with what was available. MP’s had to be told to shutoff their cell phones as they thought who ever was attacking might have the ability to listen in. There were several ex-RCMP MP’s present and they directed the Caucus members on what to do.
    Another fact that many Canadians do not fully understand is that the Sargent-at-Arms came around a column behind the shooter and shot him in the head. There were some real heroes that day and he was at the top of the list.
    Would love to have seen Rick Mercer and his ilk in action in that hallway that day. Some people are pant pissers in life and CBC have more than their share.
    I have a lot of disappointments in the Harper era but not in that day. Harper should have taken the CBC out the minute he got his majority. The fact he did not indicates to me a lack of strategic planning. The same way he should have given exclusive interviews to SUN TV to reinforce a conservative message to Canadians. The CPC never even mandated SUN’s application for mandatory inclusion in cable packaging and yet radical left media were. Go figure.
    Today the CPC cannot understand why people like me are outraged at there performance.

They take our money and then insult us, which is typical of progressives. They are dumbing down the electorate as they attempt to ensure perpetual prog rule. Considering JT was elected it is working.
    If the CBC treated Trudoh like Harper, or rather, simply honestly, Canadians would not have voted for the pedophile befriending, terrorist supporting, tyranny loving, lying economic ignoramus.

  47. Yes Kevin Vickers who took courageous forthright action at risk to his own life saved the lives of many MPs and others that day. The perp least expected anyone in the House a to be armed and b to come out firing without any negotiation. For his efforts he was rewarded with an Ambassador post by PM Harper. At the time all opposition leaders were extremely grateful for his actions. Still, some must have been uncomfortable with his shoot first response. Although still Ambassador to Ireland I suspect his days are numbered under Jr’s regime.

  50. As with the head of any state, the leader is covered to the gills whenever an attempt on his or her life is made. That’s what these guards do. Mark Critch (working for the CBC seems to be the only gig he can get) didn’t just overlook that; he omitted it. Had one of the security personnel been killed defending the whisked-away Harper, would he have written up a sketch for that?
    It never came to that because of Kevin Vickers who is awesome.
    Justin Trudeau, on the other hand, runs away from any reporter who doesn’t comment on his hair. The videos of his running from Faith Goldy and Daniel Prousallidis are out there. Watch as Trulander runs to mummy because the mean, old reporters attempt to ask him the tough questions. He craves the adoration of a willing popular press. If that pu$$y folds whenever questions are asked, how well does one think he will handle Putin or Trump or even the leader of a small nation?
    This Harper-bashing never gets tired for the hacks but it certainly is tiresome. It’s a useful distraction for the ovine masses from the unemployment, the growing debt and utter uselessness of a country that used to matter.
    Harper should have destroyed the CBC.
