Wynneing!

And they told us the Sponsorship Scandal was just a “Quebec” problem.

Political staff of many Ontario cabinet ministers double as fundraisers for the Liberal Party, encouraging companies that do business with government to buy tickets to private events hosted by the same ministers who make decisions on contracts and policy.
The Globe and Mail has obtained several invitations to Liberal fundraisers that list ministerial aides as contact people selling tickets.
And more than a half dozen sources in companies doing business with the province say it is commonplace for staffers to invite them to donate to the politicians they deal with.

  1. So, how long do we have to wait before the diligent G & M journos give us the list of the firms who paid to have the chance to screw the taxpayer down the road?

  2. I moved out of Ontario long ago and I don’t even care to return to visit family, I prefer to fly them out where I am in the wonderful west. Ontarians who put up with this shit are getting what they deserve. Vote them out or vote yourself another province to live in. Actually, I think it’s too late, Ontario has been taken over by immigrants with grievances and leftist twats with grievances. It’s a lost cause.

  3. I was going to go work it the “tar sands”, butt found out they aren’t hiring today, then I was invited to work in construction in BC, but I had to be fluent in Mandarin. I’v now concluded that moving out of Canada is a better option, more freedoms out there.
BTW; what really gits me is that people think that this is unique to the leftards.

  4. no no no. They only come out after you have left home, to take what you left behind.

  5. Ontario is a political cesspool out of the range of the stench meter. There is no one to clean it up, they’re all in it together. Even the electorate have been bought with their lies from the beginning of the McGuinty romp. If there were an election today they’d win again, the opposition can’t get their acts together long enough to figure it all out.

  6. “to work in construction in BC, but I had to be fluent in Mandarin” which is a lie.
Ontario became a one-party state, which invites corruption.
I also think it’s a mistake to unite the right in Alberta. I know you’re likely tired of Ottawa Jason, but you should leave the right divided. The NDP will of their own incompetence implode leaving a Centre-right and a Right wing party to fight for power. An ideal situation; Albertans will never be afraid to throw the bums out and to hold those in power to a very high standard.
Jason, you could have come home at some point to lead the Wild Rose when able. I rejoined the CPC to support you and feel slightly disenfranchised.

  7. Flints:
Or maybe call the OPP. Except that their union supported Wynne last time around and the top brass are apt to be found in attendance at the cabinet fund raisers.

  8. sarcasm ain’t yer strong point, is it.
Yes I could fly to BC tomorrow and start working the next day, but don’t want to, it don’t fit my schedule.

  9. You think any of the judges Trudeau senior stuffed the supreme court with would let a Liberal get punished for anything? Let me know how that works out. You think Beverley McLachlin is on the side of the Liberal party, or the side of the citizens and freedom?
