    They have him quoted as saying “God”, not “Allah”.
    Don’t know about you, but I think it’s a HUGE f*cking difference at a time when Americans need to understand Islam was his motive.

  15. He completely misses the boat. It’s not about “radical Islam”. It’s about Islam. The vast majority of “moderate Muslims” who the author says we need on our side are staunch supporters of sharia law.
    Also comparing them to Hispanic or triad gangs as being the same is off base as well. The enemies of these gangs are other gangs. Not the general public. Gangs do not indiscriminately murder 50 innocent people at a club. They don’t take hostages, chop off their head and post it on the Internet. In the immortal words of Vito Corleone, “it’s bad for business.”

    In cases where a Muslim is crying foul no one ever checks their religious Bona fides.
    If you self identify as Muslim you pass go and collect 200 bucks.
    The rest of us must bow to Muslim sesitivities regardless of said Muslims adherence to claimed faith.
    True Islam will not be nearly so accommodating of the apostate Muslims.

    South of the US border, the scale of atrocities committed by Mexican drug cartels dwarfs those of ISIS in the Middle East. A recent United Nations report estimated nearly 9,000 civilians were killed and 17,386 wounded in Iraq in 2014. Assuming that ISIS was responsible for a large number of these deaths and wounded people, and another several thousand deaths in Syria, these numbers are far surpassed by drug cartel murders in Mexico, the way that people were brutally murdered, and the tens of thousands of kidnapped children used as assassins or on suicide missions, as drug mules, prostitutes and other forms of depravity. And the atrocities committed in Central America are much worse than in Mexico.
    … Brutality and savagery in El Salvador is comparable to Islamic terrorism in the Middle East, arguably much worse. Criminals in El Salvador hang, decapitate, burn, chop up, and play soccer with the heads of victims. Like ISIS, gangs in El Salvador use terrorism to intimidate communities and maintain their control and authority.

  21. Well said. The author of “Son of Hamas”, who actually is the son of an Hamas leader says in his book there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim, only one who does carry out Mo’s commands.
