The Venezuelan women I’ve met love their fashion. This will not go down well.
I’ve heard that from other sources as well.
Canadian women will be able to stand in front of a giant windmill and dry their hair, at least in the summer.
Well, if I was Venezuelan, keeping out of the morgue might be my first concern:

A lot of similarities with Canada. Both are energy-rich countries with terminally stupid voters.
“You Won’t Believe What We Saw In Socialist Venezuela”

The inevitable result of that Leap crap. And liberals consider Naomi Klein an intellectual.
The lefty women of Canada can unplug their dishwashers in solidarity with their sisters in Venezeula.
My neighbour is moving to Caracas. Life to tough in Alberta under EnDeePee
That’s what happens when you squander all your oil money. Alberta has accomplished the same feat.
I wonder if Nico would like to buy some coal?
President Maduro is keeping them on the path. Socialism –> Communism —> Cannibalism
Exactly.
Socialism start off with stocked shelves of choice and ends up with shortages and line ups.
Perhaps PM Care Bear can help by sending in a force of Liberal administrative bureaucrats to show them how to finish off what little they have left to tax and regulate.
I mean aren’t all socialist governments on a one way path to failed state politics and insolvency? PM Selfie has a new formula to accelerate the process. Walk proud Canada!
Actually, this LEAP stuff makes sense to me.
It is absolutely logical that before you knowingly herd your citizenry over the brink of the economic abyss you would precondition them to think “LEAP”.
This country,Venezuela, operated under an Oligarchy using the Oil Wealth to maintain Luxurious Life Styles for the Oligarchs.
The electricity; food and general supplies were normally available to the ordinary Citizens. There were advantages to being a Working person; nothing like the Oligarch Life Style. There was oppression.
Venezuela was a Democracy based Country similar to Canada however without the high level of Education within the Populace and a History of Enlightenment.
This changed dramatically with the Election of a Socialist Heavy Government by pandering to the poorly educated usng brokerage Politics.
The formula for a Violent Revolution has been established waiting for a Coup and a Leader who will begin the oppressive society described succinctly in “Animal Farm”.
This Orwell Book appears to be a Children’s Book; however the simply written story is identifiable with all Socialist Countries whether Socialist Heavy Or Socialist Lite using the Brokerage Politics.
and supplicant media coverage during the most recent Federal Election
Mr Maduro added: “I always think a woman looks better when she just runs her fingers through her hair and lets it dry naturally. It’s just an idea I have.”
When your president sounds like the creepy stalker guy at the local pick-up bar … you know you have a problem. What kind of people actually elect a moron like this as president ? No wonder the lights are going out.
that guy looks like he would have impossible difficulty running a variety store.
I think we’re about to see if George Carlin was right about all that it takes to cause societal disaster and chaos: zap the power grid.
socialism socialism socialism. gawd almighty, what makes peeple think all that free stuff can keep on gushing forth with minimal effort on their part? hand over your liberties and decision making to the monolithic STATE and they will babysit you for life. ya right. a life shortened by the pernicious erosion of what makes life livable.
all part of the plan.

Hm,even their price for gas at the pump isn’t that good, only 1 cent/liter difference between Venezuela and the USA.
I liked the “look” the Prez is referring to,when it was stylish in the 70’s, but then a pretty young woman’s hair usually looks good.
Let us hope the citizens of this socialist paradise get behind the President, and cut out all excessive use of electricity. Hopefully they’ll forgo watching the upcoming NHL playoffs on their power sucking big screen TV’s.
Another solution might be to drag the Prez and all his minions out into the street and hang ’em high,as the Italians did with Mussolini back in the good old days. Yep,Maduro would look good with a rope around his ankles.
I guess I’m advocating violence, but what the hell, violence is the most important and inevitable part of socialism, you either get it at the start or somewhere else along the road to paradise.
Perhaps they should visit Morontario and inquire about our “smart” meter technology?
Socialism at its finest. After you are arrested for hoarding toilet paper, your prison will be dark for 3 days a week. That is progress(ive).
“But if we try socialism just one more time, it’ll work out like promised!”
