Oh Woe Is She

I’m inclined to suggest that getting into further debt for a grad school degree in Women and Gender Studies is possibly not an ideal way to help one’s family economically.

Katherine Garcia, a feminist “creative” and self-appointed enlightener on “social justice” issues, feels severely undervalued

  1. yup, that dimwit, with a grade 10 education, driving the tractor to plow a field so crops can be grown to feed this silly bitch is an oppressor because he sees NO value in her creativity.

  2. Maybe she can move to Ontario and Wynne can find her make-believe work in a pretend job.

  3. When you’re too stupid to understand an actual science like biology there is always gender studies.

  4. Queen Latifa, Lil’ Kim, and Kain West all used their talentless “creativity” to make millions – what’s her excuse again?

  5. Katherine should pursue a career in comedy, but I fear she may end up as a part-time employment counselor.

  6. she is undervalued in her mind but in th minds of the real people in the real world she is properly valued at zero.

  7. Hey, hey, careful there ;-). I have my grade 12, most of a registered industrial accounting degree, and, a half dozen long distance Athabaska University history courses, including a course on propaganda, and decided to be a dimwit driving a tractor.
But, you are right about not seeing any value in her “creativity”. In fact her kind makes me want to upchuck.

  8. Don’t let Red Rachel find out about them. She’d offer them positions in her cabinet or give them jobs as advisors to the New Dipper provincial government.
They remind me of the Lotus eaters described in Homer’s “Odyssey”, completely disconnected from reality and devoid of any personal responsibility–kind of like O’Bummer or the Clown Prince.
By the way, what on earth is a patriarchy smasher and why is this occupation important to civilization?

  9. Of course, if they all came to Canada, they’d qualify for a federal government grant, wouldn’t they?

  10. A dreamer
If she could keep her big mouth shut she could always lie on her back and “dream of England ”
But she should never be allowed to raise it

  11. Tim Horton is hiring, but it may be too much of a fast paced environment for her.

  12. No….she is not “undervalued”. She is appropriately “valued”. She is a parasite. Faculties that prey upon such morons should be shut down so taxpayers are not sucked into the blackhole of stupidity that pulled her in.

  13. Since the educational industry has been dumbing us down for 50 years it’s no wonder there people as ignorant as this woman and so many others like her. The failure is in not teaching students how the free enterprise system works. What is upward mobility, what is individualism, etc. The fantasy word that is spun by post secondary industrialists is criminal.

  14. So she happily exists in her childlike daydream world; where this perception is like her very own personal oxygen bubble but reality bothers her as it doesn’t pay the bills well. Liked her quick shift into cognitive dissonance though, lol.
Stuff writes itself. Popcorn time’s a bit early today, but daily dietary fiber’s all good! 😉
    @JamesHalifax Re: Your link …yeah.

  15. I guess the simple version of her blather has never crossed her ears.
The best thing about banging your head on the wall?
    When you stop.
Welfare must be controlled locally.Having a federal welfare bureaucracy has produced millions of Katherine Garcia’s.
i feel like every tax dollar I pay is another head strike.
For the pain caused by these parasites is recurring and endless.

  16. I quickly glanced at that article. I think the writer’s head is located where the sun doesn’t shine.
Then again I read on a different website a few years ago that logic is an instrument of male oppression. Go figure.

  17. She is from a low-income family, her single mother kids, (and there will be several, each from a different dad), will be from a low-income family and the cycle will continue.

  18. Excuse me … but WHAT does Feminist and Gender Studies have to do with “creativity” ? If anything, these studies SCREAM – “conformity”.
I work in a “creative” field, and I am judged … project-by-project … on THAT creativity. And I get paid quite well for being BOTH creative … and … PRODUCTIVE. I PRODUCE work that my clients both “need” and “want”. My demonstrated expertise generates new clients … not me whining about getting paid for my “art” and whatnot. It must be emphasized that “creativity” without “productivity” is WORTHLESS and is DEAD. Andy Warhol may have “imagined” an image of Marilyn Monroe with various color washes … but until he PUT IT ON CANVAS … it was a WORTHLESS idea. When he produced the WORK necessary to express his ART … he was amply rewarded. However, it must be noted that not ALL “art” has a commercial audience. And if it doesn’t … it’s nothing more than mental masturbation. It might be personally satisfying … but that’s about it.
PS … I am from a low-income family too. And yes, it would have been IDIOTIC for me to select a course of study that has very little value in our society. It would have been DUMB.

  19. Ken, my roots are farming people. I wasn’t denigrating with that comment, I was expressing how these nitwits view “country” folk:-))

  20. I wonder if “Everyday Feminism” pays their writers. If so, it must be by word count….. I could have summed up the article in two sentences. (“Appreciate my creativity. I’m a failure in life.”
It’s a niche site for the mentally ill. I never would have heard about it (much less visited it) if not for David Thompson. Curse you Thompson!

  21. From her bio: “She is passionate about LGBTQIA+ rights, domestic violence advocacy, Latinx issues, and mental health awareness, as well as 80s hair metal, used book stores, astrology, and chocolate.”
Kinda tells you all you need to know, doesn’t it?

  22. I know that.
Ellie in T.O., why would she advocate for domestic violence. Should everyone be against that?

  23. That’s one major problem with websites like that. Once one looks at them, they can’t be unseen. Nothing can remove the intellectual stains they leave.

  24. She would get fired from McDonalds or Starbucks…simply a WASTE of Skin..and my tax dollars.
