The culture of death known as “the left” has your pet in their target zone;
The RSPCA has been accused of acting unlawfully after seizing a family’s pet cat – which was then put down against the owners’ wishes – in an official review which described the charity’s actions as a “travesty”.
The 16-year-old Turkish Van, named Claude, was taken away from Richard and Samantha Byrnes by RSPCA inspectors after a neighbour raised concerns about the animal’s appearance.
It was destroyed even though Mrs Byrnes tearfully begged animal inspectors to wait until her children, aged 12 and 14, could say goodbye to the animal they had known all their lives.
Now an official review conducted by Stephen Wooler, the former HM Chief Inspector to the Crown Prosecution Service, found the RSPCA had failed to disclose material to the Byrnes in a subsequent animal cruelty prosecution, The Times (£) reported.
The RSPCA’s actions also provoked a hate campaign against the family, the unpublished report found.

MPs are currently holding an inquiry into the charity’s role in prosecuting 80 per cent of animal welfare cases in England and Wales.
That’s right – “prosecuting”. These animal welfare organizations have been granted quasi-police powers in many jurisdictions. “Licensing and inspecting” is how they get their foot in the legislative door.

James Delingpole’s better take on this http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-3514829/Why-charity-set-fight-animal-cruelty-cruel-itself.html
Too many clueless and useless do-gooders destroy civilization.
The fools who granted these pathological nosy parkers any kind of legal authority need to suffer.
Once we have enough agents, agencies and moral police we have chaos.
Too much regulation is more lawless than having no rules.
There is a reason some say;”Kill All the Lawyers”.
Bringing back the Code of duelling would go a long way to sorting out these brainless bullies.
I consider my cat a family member. Kill her, and you will have to hide from me for the rest of your short life.
same if you ever harm either of my two dogs. and out here in the prairies there will be a lot more people after you. We do not like animal abusers and thiefs
I failed to mention that out here we have thousands of square miles of empty range and probably thousands of front-end loaders and skip loaders to dig holes!
Half these social justice warriors and animal justice seekers have probably never had more than a pet rock or chiapet. A close friend of mine has a Himalayan or some such breed and every year comes out looking like she had a set to with a Tasmanian Devil. Some animals shed but this one clumps and it is not due to inattention I can tell you. ’tis the nature of the beast and after the old coat is gone and the new one comes in she is a thing of grace and beauty(even for a cat).
Anyway, it would be safe to say that the RSPCA would have their hey day with this otherwise healthy member of the family. but they would have to get through me first.
Most of these animal rights freakos have never seen real wild critter outside some movie with animatronic talking piggies and have never seen the wilderness where animals must often kill to survive real nature would scare the bejaizes out these ignorant flatlanders
We had a cat like that and if you didn’t regularly brush her, there would be massive snarls in her coat even though she constantly groomed. We had 2 brushes for her, one that cut through the snags and a normal brush. The animal would probably have to be knocked out, because the discomfort of using the wrong brush. They should’ve gotten another vet. My wife suggested that the bald patches might be from shaving the problem areas. Also I hate subjectiveness and would like to have the weight listed in the article.
