What started as a legitimate change to bring about equality and transformation of how we viewed, treated and spoke about each other has now ossified into a rarely breached wall of silence; a silence reinforced by the onset of the West’s indifference to its own – good, bad or ugly but – distinct societies, their values and norms; call it white man’s burden or guilt; a guilt for the sins of the past now manifesting itself in the white man’s fear.
This fear has habituated many Western leaders in their frailty to speak the unvarnished truth about the need for the refugees and immigrants welcomed into these societies to fully integrate in them. It is not about changing one’s religion or bleaching one’s skin to make it paler. It is about learning the moral, ethical, social and political anchors that, in this case, Canada is rooted in.
In other words, all is going according to plan.

I think I understand what he’s getting at. However, that first sentence/paragraph needs tidying up.
The fear only inhabits the minds of politicians and Laurentian elites (or would be elites) and other cultural progressives.
Those of us who comprise the hoi polloi have no fear nor do we feel any guilt for the sins of our forefathers. Those were in the past and the past is another country.

I wasn’t aware Canada had gassed large numbers of Japanese-Canadians during WW2? That is the image I associate with “concentration camps”. I was of the understanding that they had forcibly interred these people in prison-like camp settings. Perhaps Mr. Dosanjh can provide numbers of the dead?

we have a problem and the problem is the people who think every culture and religion are equal. they are not. I for one do not find any value in allowing people into the country who’s religion says they have to kill us, no value there for me. there is no value for the country in the importation of tens of thousands who will be on welfare for as long as they live, no value there for me. multiculturalism and diversity are divisive, no value there for me. we need to get our collective heads out of our nether regions and look at the world with some wisdom and critical thinking skills, something that far too many Canadians lack.
