  1. Progressives will ‘argue’ that since he’s NOT an urban hipster with a Masters an Art History and a PhD in Political “Science” he can’t possibly know ANYTHING … and he looks like he probably owns a couple of guns too …so he’s simply full of $#!t in their eyes.

  2. Is this silliness still being discussed? I never understood how that was even a thing. Steel turns into a liquid at 2500F, but it softens a long time before that. Jet fuel may have a flashpoint of 1500F, but it’ll get a heckuva lot hotter than that as more and more of it burns. Surely most adults have encountered the reality that big fires get hotter than little fires?
I personally worked on rewiring a plywood (OSB if you want to be pedantic) plant where the steel girders had curled, collapsed, dripped, and run like melted butter when the tons of poplar chips in the plant caught fire because of a leak in the thermal oil system (the oil itself doesn’t burn).
While no old-time blacksmith would have considered burning wood in their forge if they had coal, a big enough pile of plain old wood gets plenty hot enough to melt steel.

  3. The alternative theory is that the twin towers were wired with explosives. Any evidence for that?

  4. Conspiracy theorists always use the unfalsifiable hypothesis gimmick whereby the burden of proof is laid upon those who accept the known facts to refute whatever bizarre claim is being made.
In reality, the tinfoil hat brigade needs to bring forward proof that Mossad agents funded by big oil placed explosives in the Towers against key structural elements.
An associated topic is the psychological phenomena of the self pleasing myth.

  5. Add some airflow to a jetfuel fire and temps can go very high … at its max jetfuel burns 2300 to 2900 degrees in a modern turbine engine
Take a safety pin or needle and heat it with a BIC lighter and it will get red hot in 40 seconds . Please try this at home …. haaaa
World Trade Center had some heated and softened and bent steel girders , but no “melted” steel per say
The conspiracy theory people are some of the biggest liars around , what they do is leave out all the information that contradicts their fiction.

  6. The question now is;who do ya believe, this redneck or Hollywood superstar Rosie O’Donnell, who starred in…………………..uh, well……..the movies!!!

  7. There is a lot of evidence if you pay attention. Conspiracy theorists often have a good case for whatever they believe in. Some conspiracies are true — others not. Some that are true represent a sinister government agenda. Dismissing something as a “conspiracy theory” without actually investigating evidence is very foolish. It is EXACTLY what conspirators want you to do. I am not stating a conclusion re the Twin Towers as I have not been able to look deeply into it. I am currently stuck on the Kennedy Assassination (definitely a conspiracy). Next I hope to learn more about the Oklahoma City bombing — strange goings on there also.

  8. It was the ebil shape shifting Juice that did it. The explanation is as clear and shiny as the tinfoil on their heads.
They walked in past security with 100’s of pounds of explosives and miles of detonating cord. They tore out walls and ceilings to install the explosives and replaced the walls, painted them, and replaced the ceilings while somehow avoiding the workers, the janitors, and security. They even aged the new materials to blend in with the old walls and ceilings. The best part is they then used their shape shifting mind control powers to hide the detonating cord running between all the explosive charges throughout the building. How else can you explain that they did a controlled implosion, that requires precise timing to make it fall straight down, except by making the det cord invisible?
How did no one notice the explosives and detonating cord? It was the Juice, it is always the ebil Juice. It is the ONLY explanation.

  9. What a know-nothing blowhard. His big-mouth argument is completely bogus. I shake my head and laugh at those who think this little display of his proves anything.

  10. I was told it was the north korean sent a torpedo into the Deepwater Horizon oil rig (the BP gulf of mexico thing). the dumass never even acknowledge my Q as to how they snuck past all those 1000s of sonar detectors the USA plopped all over the world’s oceans to keep track of soviet subs. or, maybe, gasp!!! the white house was in on it !!!
his mother told me FDR arranged Pearl Harbour attack to ‘get the americans in the war’.
anybody know the %ages who currently claim Apollo 11 was staged? does that mean the entire space program was staged? is the ISS a gigantic cardboard cutout? inquiring minds want to know.
I’m not hopeful for the future. I’m sorta banking on being able to ‘hold out’ against this pandemic absurdity until its my time to be with my Maker.

  11. Well maybe not for you, but for anyone with an IQ above that of an eggplant, it might prove something. You might want to look around for videos of steel reinforced overpasses collapsing when gasoline tankers were burning under them. But then, maybe your comment was sarcasm.

  12. I’m no scientist but I did work at a steel company for a few years. It was pretty common knowledge that fire could melt steel.

  13. I have several questions:
    1. How long did the fellow in the video expose his steel rod to the heat in his furnace before he demonstrated its bending?
    2. In contrast,
    (a) how long and (b) how many of the steel girders of the WTC buildings were exposed to the heat of the flames fed by the plane’s fuel in manner SIMILAR to the fellow’s heating of his rod?
    3. Did heated steel girders also contribute to the collapse of WTC 7?

  14. How about some facts and figures to back up your claim?
Here’s a few facts I had drilled into my brain before I was allowed to go outside and ground run multi-million dollar jet engines. The temperature of the flame in the combustion liner of a jet engine is 3600F or higher, 25% of the air is used for combustion the other 75% is used to cool the gas down enough that the engine components won’t melt. There are special ceramic coatings on the combustion liner to prevent heating by IR and UV rays.
The vanes and turbine blades are not steel, it would melt, nickel alloys are used and the vanes and blades are hollow with tiny holes to allow P3 cooling air (at only 400F!) to bleed out so the hot gas doesn’t actually touch the metal.
I don’t know where anyone got the idea that jet fuel burns at 1500F but it is just silly and as pointed out in the video steel loses its strength and rigidity long before it melts. That is one of the reasons titanium is used in jet engine exhaust pipes. While not as strong as the best steels titanium stays strong at much higher temperatures than steel.

  15. I don’t even remember how may times I was told by structural engineers, on worksites, that steel beams can lose their strength even in the heat of an ordinary wood frame building fire, and thus collapse.

  16. Oh my, aren’t you a big shot. Your attempt at pulling rank with your self described credentials is laughable.
I got an idea. Why don’t you use that all-knowingness on those thousands of architects and engineers who question the official narrative of what happened that day.
Go ahead. Expand your horizons. You can start here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-V1CiuGMJo

  17. Kinda shows how few people are actively engaged in commercial/industrial construction.
Any firefighter can show you photos of twisted steel.
Funny how the progressive twits can call blacksmithing art, yet fail to understand the medium.
The failure of the twin Towers needed no explanation to steel workers, welders or firemen.
    Heat and gravity.
Must of been a conspiracy for sure.

  18. Where did you get the crazy idea that it is “progressives” who question the official narrative?

  19. I’m a forensic structural engineer. I attended the National Forensic Engineers Congress in San Diego a couple of years after 9/11. There was a lengthy presentation on the collapse of the Twin Towers by the engineers who did the investigation. The nature of the collapse was simple – there was nothing mysterious or unexplained. Collapses of steel-frame buildings from fire are common. Only the magnitude of the event itself causes many to assume there must be some unexplained complicated conspiracy type theory involved.
At the risk of causing heads to explode, I’d explain to the conspiracy theorists that heavy timber (i.e., wood!) actually performs better than steel because it’s self-insulating. Once a char layer develops, the timber is protected from further heat damage. Maybe we can get a carpenter to post up a YouTube vid on same! 🙂

  20. Because of the lefties hate for asbestos and their pressure to get rid of it, during the construction of the centers the girders past the 64th floors were not coated with asbestos. The fellow who designed those buildings always said he did not want to be past the 64th floors if there was ever a fire in those buildings. All the left is capable of, is stupidity and obstacles in the way of builders and creators, what a legacy the left has.

  21. What are the chances that you can take some barely educated person from Saudi Arabia, give him some flying lessons in a two seat Cessna and then have that same individual jump behind the controls of a large commercial air liner for the very first time and have him steer it at 600 miles per hour and hit a bulls-eye three times out of three? That last little twist so that the wings would hit multiple floors was awful good flying too, wasn’t it.
It’s called “skepticism” people. You know, kinda of like being skeptical of the climate change racket.
Nine-11 skepticism is actually quite interesting. Give it a try and maybe you’ll learn something new.

  22. A friend of mine is a safe cracker. A legal one. He flew to New York with dozens of other safe crackers after the attacks. There were hundreds of safes that survived the attack and they all had to be opened. Most had no identifiable marks on them and most of the people who knew the combinations were dead. They all had to be opened.

  23. I work at a oil refinery near Fort Saskatchewan on a contractural basis. One of their products is jet fuel. There is a vessel that caught fire several years ago due to a leaking valve. The fire lasted perhaps 15 minutes. The intensity of that fire was enough to bend a 20ft steel cross brace into a giant smiley face. The electrical trays that run near the vessel are made of aluminum and they turned into a runny soup. Made for a hell of a repair bill.
I make it a point to show new visitors to the site this particular area.
Jet fuel can indeed melt a steel beam.

  24. “What are the chances that you can take some barely educated person from Saudi Arabia, give him some flying lessons in a two seat Cessna and then have that same individual jump behind the controls of a large commercial air liner for the very first time and have him steer it at 600 miles per hour and hit a bulls-eye three times out of three?”

We’ll never know, because the hijackers who flew the jets into the Twin Towers weren’t Saudi, weren’t uneducated, and they knew how to fly jets. Ziad Jarrah was Lebanese, attended the Technical University of Hamburg, and began training to fly large jets in 2000. Marwan al-Shehhi was from the United Arab Emirates, was the son of a cleric, and had logged hundreds of hours on a Boeing 727 flight simulator.
The WTC was *huge* — staggeringly huge. Anybody trained to land jets on a runway could easily hit such a giant (70 yards wide) edifice.
So: they weren’t uneducated, they knew how to fly jets, and it’s a piece of cake to hit a building that size — you can see it from 10 miles away on a clear day, as it was on the day of the attacks.
As for the pilot who flew the jet into the Pentagon, he was Saudi, but he was well-educated, and later attended the Arizona Jettech Flight School. He had a commercial pilots certificate.

  25. Landing on flat ground is tricky, hitting two of the largest sheer walls on the planet not so
Ductle failure starts at around 600 degrees , some steels go off spec as low as 300

  26. Umm – WTC Building 7 was not hit by any plane but it collapsed that day too.
And the video of the collapse looks a lot like a demolition.
I’m not sure that it’s been explained.

  27. Wow, did this thread bring out the freaks or what…
My spouse, who’s also an AME – concurs with you.
The kooks, they sure like their old bones though. 😉

  28. Wow, like…we’ll really get into this heavy conspiracy shit once turdo la doo gets weed legalized, eh man?

  29. The Flat earth people are getting big these days. As ive said the 21st century is turning into one huge superstition after another. If i may say a pie in the sky naivety in avoiding reality. Much like giving Jenner women of the year award with him wearing male genitalia. Some dont even believe nuclear bombs are real or even satellites. There gonna find out the rude way

  30. Cause only a non tool using social retard, a progressive, would voluntarily remain so ignorant of the strength of materials.
The collapse of the towers was completely predictable.
The impact of a 747 is far more than the fire retardants could ever be engineered for.
A fire in a tower creates an inferno.
Once one floor slab dropped the building was doomed.
Ever wondered how a wrecking ball works?
Reverse your theory, design an office tower that can withstand the impact of a fully fuelled 747.
If you can do that, now how do you afford to build it?
The stupid of a covert operation to fake the destruction of the World Trade Centre, defies all logic.
Course if you buy that conspiracy theory, I got some Global warming Prevention systems to sell you.

  31. OMG, so many people in the pay of Big Blacksmith. It’s a conspiracy, I tells you.
Much like the aluminium faeries that stole the beer cans from our campfire. We’d through the cans in there as we drank them, and in the morning they’d be gone. It couldn’t have been the fire, because, like, you know that wood fires aren’t hot enough to melt aluminium. It’s the only explanation that makes sense. Maybe the tooth faerie is branching out?

  32. The design of the WTC had free spans between the outside shear walls and the rigid core. They were poured concrete plates over space frames of fairly light trusses. Like a unibody car the whole building shell was used as the structural rigidity. Once any upper floor got detached from the shear walls or the core from either end and started falling every floor below it was in fail mode. Actually it was a perfect failure, going straight down and not falling over and causing more damage. The size of the site is impressive

  33. Hey Jethro! You are a train wreck. Careful!….manbearpig….right bahind ja!! …..ahahahahahah. You silly dope! Go sell yourself to the likeminded at the Star. You are soooo low-ball goofy. Don’t forget to pick up your free Justin pics at the teen idol website. Trusses, steel girders, heat, jet fuel, barely educated, bulls-eye, bullshi-ite, more bull-shi-ite, and more bull shi-ite…skepticism,, 600 MPH, commercial…. blah blah blah blah blah blah……….fool!

  34. WTC 7 was easily a victim of collateral damage. The seismic impact from two of the worlds largest and tallest buildings pancaking in the ground onto the reclaimed land and the debris falling on it from buildings twice its size and the blast wave from the towers collapsing. The collapse of the towers released an extraordinary amount of potential energy.
