I heard a story on the radio news today in Toronto about police looking for someone who was involved in a single vehicle accident in the Downsview are of the city. He abandoned the car and ran away. Police apparently found a machine gun and handgun and ammo in the car. The police also stated that they found “religious material in the vehicle “but stressed that the religious material is in no way related to the guns”
The religious material was probably Jehovah’s Witness stuff that the guy got from a proselytizer I imagine.

Given that many were refusing asylum in Canada, they are likely not that desperate. They are also not stateless. This is a Liberal feel-good ploy. In the end, it us not the best solution to to their suffering nor is it beneficial for Canada.

Revoke the Canadian citizenship of our Muslim neighbours and give them all a year to pack whatever objects of purely sentimental value will fit into carry-on luggage and return to the cesspits they came from, or if they were born in Canada, to the first Muslim country that will accept them, leaving everything of value behind, with proceeds of sale of their effects to be applied to Canada’s national debt.
After that, put a cash bounty on their heads and leave it to the free market and the entrepreneurial spirit of Canadians to give the rest of Canada’s Muslim community the incentive they need to deport themselves.
The housing stock they vacate will go a long way towards helping real refugees—Christians from Western Europe fleeing Islamisation, who are far more likely to be an asset to Canada, not a burden—settle in and start new lives.

There are entirely legitimate concerns about Islamic extremism and the threat it poses but you’re not likely going to find many cogent responses here. That said, political leadership and honesty on the issue is desperately lacking and it shows.
Not all Muslims are Islamic terrorists but all Islamic terrorists are Muslims. The constant mealy-mouthed obfuscation of this fundamental reality helps no one, least of all Muslims themselves.
