  1. “$15 and $20 an hour during the day and 11 to $13 an hour for night shifts effective Nov.”
Wow, I doubt they get any benefits either and get treated like sh*t by the rich trust fund kiddee and his phony wife.
Hey nannies, go work at a 7-11, you’ll make better money, the customers are probably better behaved and they’ll throw in a shift premium overnight.

  2. But order one $10 glass of orange juice and you’re out. Oh wait, she was a Conservative. Different standards are applied.

  3. Really, I don’t care if he has 5 nannies, Just Man Up, Justin! and Walk YOUR OWN Talk!
Justin, you’re just another 1 percenter, wanting the middle class to pay your way. haha

  4. He can’t help but steal. He’s a Liberal. It’s in his blood. I warned endless people that Conservative “scandals” involve Parliamentary procedure, while Liberal scandals involve large amounts of cash. 4 or 5 more years. Lucky us. That $16 orange juice was a good bargain.

  5. It wouldn’t surprise me if those nannies are here because of the TFW program.
That said, they should get paid a premium for night shifts. It’s dangerous as the Trudeau home is a known target for burglars carrying knives. Perhaps they should even be armed.

  6. I take the liberty of quoting the NATIONAL POST. (Nov 27th 2015) Jason Fekete. Ottawa Citizen.
Titled: Trudeau slams Harper as divisive. (BBC interview). From the text.
“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau harshly criticized predecessor Stephen Harper”. This while he was interviewed in England. A classic golden rule for visiting politicians exists. This is when visiting another country is not to bad mouth another politician who is remaining in one’s own country .
    Bad form!

  7. CBC – Let’s just blame Mulroney
    ——————–
The issue arose in May 1984 when then Conservative leader Brian Mulroney was asked by a television interviewer if taxpayers would pay for ”nannies”….

  8. Daniel used voting!
    It’s not very effective. 🙁
These are pokemon jokes. I know, I know. Continue on about your daily business.

  9. A $1,800 payment a day, for an immigration consultant to deal with the influx of refugees. Quebec, of course. This has even got the press seemingly trying to stir things up.
Lovely money….. if you can get it.

  10. Right but they’re being paid $11 to $15 per hour so that’s actually saving taxpayer dollars; that’s right, saving … remember a molecule representing 3% of the atmosphere of which humans contribute 5% is the threat … not AK47 toting theocratic, megalomaniacal, apocalyptic, and nuke seeking organized criminals. Nope not them, the JV team that’s all.
Welcome to the big brother reality show that is now government. Taxpayer contestants can pull on the tax-kaching machine to find out how much their taxes will rise to save the world from terrorism? No, silly from, eek, climate change. Watch the false narrative, the pure fantasy, arise as political correctness cancels out common sense and taxpayer booty is redistributed to the Grit unemployables.
Policy formation shall now be bait and switch: don’t want refugees, no problem we’ll bring in a zillion by Christmas; oh you think we should “slow down;” Terrorism a problem? Agreed but it’s “caused” by global warming. That’s why supposed citizens of this country flee us to pursue violence in Syria; now, promising $billions to the poor world, courtesy of our poor’s carbon taxes and energy costs; and finally this laughable case, getting us to be genuinely concerned about the government paying his family nanny/day care bill, while he prepares to tax the living crap out of the middle class and especially the poor.
My main concern is the crappy money they’re paying these people, who must be highly qualified. I feel sorry for the one who had the photo leaked; she will likely suffer the wrath of elitist gigantism. Giving the middle class a tax increase they didn’t ask for and you didn’t mention is bad enough, but the damage, the very indifference, to the poorest in our society by these statists is beyond comprehension.
Thank God they’re 34% sure the summer of 2015 was the “hottest on record,” based on bogus surface measurements, or we’d never have found this “invisible” problem for which the solution, as usual in statism, is higher taxes, bigger government, and smaller citizens, along with their wallets.
Transactions of decline creating jobs and wealth. Sure that makes sense. Eeek.

  11. Forget the nannies, who paid for having the kids tag along to Paris? There were always criticisms of Lauren Harper accompanying her husband, but she would have worked hard at any of these conferences; social events are always part of the mix and the spouses of the main participants are expected to be there and contribute. But the children? As far as I am concerned, the travel costs for the children (and the nanny) are a taxable benefit to the PM, and I would expect whoever handles payroll for the government to include that benefit on the PM’s T4.

  12. Wow, CBC actually reported the story, quite the stretch for them. Of course, the issue is now dead and put to bed. Now if it was Harper…… we would still be hearing about it 6 weeks from now and they would be investigating ever other CPC MP.

  13. This is indefensible.
Of course the courtier would think it’s fine, he makes his keep spreading bullshit.
Every person that goes to work pays for the daycare and other cares for the young, the old.
Who the hell do these people think they are?
What the hell is the airhead getting over $300K a year for?
Isn’t it to look after his family?
This has nothing to do with envy.
It has everything to do with freeloaders paying their own way.
If, somebody has a problem with that, they can take up a collection and help the sucker up.
    Heh.
Like they would use their own money

.taxes sucking socialists.

  14. Two nannies??? One isn’t enough? I’m not sure I get it. Also, since he’s taking all kinds of benefits away from parents that he deems too “rich” to have them he should definitely be paying for them himself. Or is it another case of, “You peons must do as I say but none of what I say applies to myself.”

  15. Who is paying? Well we are, of course – the Canadian taxpayers! The real question is WHY are the Trudeaus bringing their small children to a business meeting? You’re right that spouses are generally expected to attend these international meetings and they do have their own social functions – but I cannot think of any other leader who brings his or her kids along.

  16. Can’t the Trudeaus look after their own kids ?
” Lowering Hadrien to waist height, he’d flipped the infant on his side and spun him in the air, fast. The baby, gobsmacked, rolled like a crazily time-lapsed rotisserie chicken, executing a flawless 360 in mid-air.
“He did the roll?” she asks, eyebrows rising. “That’s new.” Her voice takes on a tone of faux menace. “Oooooh, Justin . . .” ”

    Apparently not.

  17. Folks, you just don’t understand. This is Liberals doing what liberals always do. Nothing new here. These folks could give lessons to Bill and Hillary for cryin’ out loud!!!!

  18. Watch the sycophantic Liberal media apparatchiks cover for the new PM, with Torstar asserting that “of course” he should be “comp’d” for the costs of his kids nannies, but wanly acknowledging that the “optics” don’t look great.

  19. Makes me sick!
Nothing changes with Liberals *ever*. A pretty face and behind it the same old Liberal entitlement.

  20. Our Prime Minister should hire a couple of young 20-ish “refugee” males to watch the kiddies, after all, they are highly vetted are they not…and it is 2015!!!…why is the 1st family of Canada showing gender bias by having female nannies?

  21. The poll “Should taxpayers pay for the Trudeau family nannies?”
79% said NO at 5:20 pm PDT

  22. What a sponge.
Oh well I guess he will have to charge tax funded institutions more for speaking his lisped wisedoms.
Wait, this is Turdeu Two, Totally entitled, because its 2015.

  23. I guess we can now at least stop whining about the the media being biased towards the Liberals.
