  1. Convince enough of the rural folks to go Galt and you’ll get the famine.
If any of the rural folks were on Twitter, I’d suggest a hashtag campaign.

  2. Right on Muffin…
We might not have the numbers but we have all the food and most of the guns (The animal hunting ones anyway) so I think we have the upper hand. For now.
    -off grid heating source
    -Cash
    -Guns and ammo
    -Beans, lard, molasses
    Get ready. Stay ready.

  3. You’ll need to buy carbon credits if you plan on using that wood stove. Purchased with a 40 cent dollar no less. But you’ll be able to apply for a tax deduction if you purchase a windmill or solar panel.

  4. The chimney police we’ll need to see smoke because I do not intend to tell big brother when I need to heat my house because Kathleen Wynne’s electrical grid is 3rd world country unreliable during the dead of winter.
Also, the carbon credit tax collector better be wearing Kevlar if they ever do see smoke. /bravado off.

  5. Any city over 100,000 should be cut loose. Let them start their own league of city states. They can call themselves whatever they want.
The rest of us can run Canada.
    We start with Toronto.

  6. NYC recently outlawed fracking for the rest of New York State, guaranteeing the continuation of the economic stagnation that has reigned there since militant unionization drove the factory work south.

  7. Best plan yet, let us create 3 new provinces, Toronto,Vancouver and Montreal.
Remove their ability to vote themselves the wealth of the rest of there neighbours.
Mind you I also think we need to starve the bureaus by a tax revolt.
Organize at the community level and set a flat tax, paid locally.
The local will pay that same percentage to the Province and the Province to the Fed.
Starving kleptocrats do not distress me.
Or change nothing about the current and increasing taxes, except that every employee shall be paid their gross pay and have to remit their own taxes and fees.
Wanna see instant awareness of the tax theft?
    That would do it.
The flat tax option would require guts and organization as the Fed will not voluntarily stop their stealing.
Local control is the only way to reform the welfare scams that rob us all.
Every govt welfare agency perpetuates the pain they claim they cure.
The Fed blatantly uses our money to bribe our local “leaders” into their stupid schemes.
There is no reasoning with parasites, it is in their self interest to create more parasites and cities are perfect breeding grounds.
Water ? Comes from the tap.
    Food? From the supermarket.
    Weather/Climate? We control that.
    Money? Comes from the government.
Want more wealth? Take it from those who work.
Fairness? Gimme gimme gimme, I am entitled to my entitlements.

  8. Not all urbanites are clueless. Used to take the offsprings to the agricultural show at the fair grounds, and would ask those exhibiting cows: “Are we looking at hamburgers or ice cream?” Didn’t hide the fact that meat came from animals.
Some years later, one offspring decided to enter school “Concours oratoire” (in French immersion, which worked well for us). Topic – vegetable rights and how mean we are to our veggies when we prepare them for dinner. Didn’t win, but had the whole class in stitches, including teachers.

  9. In hard times such as in a famine, women take on secondary roles, men are in charge.
This crazy age we live in is kept alive artificially, it will not last.

  10. how many times have the ‘murcans, ie certain highly positioned power boys, voiced a ‘right’ to TAKE as much of Canada’s water if they ever have to, to sustain their embedded-to-the-core practice of squandering 100s of trillions of gallons of it?
I know a number, and there may be more instances of said articulated ‘right’ or shall I say ‘willingness’. google it.
‘keep your enemies close, and your friends closer’ to paraphrase Machiavelli.
oh, and my view of Tranna is to liken it to a tumour on the body of the nation, sucking up resources and getting bigger and bigger in a never ending spiral where the size causes migration to that market ’cause ‘dats where da action is’; a vicious circle if there ever was one. a godd*mn tumour on the nation. and politicians of ALL stripes ALWAYS refuse to lift a finger to alter this pattern. gutless gutless gutless and short-sighted all of them.

  11. EPA brainwashing kids into hassling their parents into a more eco-correct lifestyles yeah Live Green live miserbly More reasons the EPA needs to be totaly abolished

  12. You’ve just described the present where I live – fee this, tax that. There’s much more on the way from all levels of government to underwrite “the war on climate change.” It seems the Grit/Tory fence sitting boomers, especially in Ontario, decided to have some free stuff now and let their kids pay for it later. The ultimate pass off. Now the boomers get to collect, and collect, and … we get to turn the tables on our kids, whom we’ve been paying for but sorry, the bank of Mom & Dad is closed permanently.
We still outnumber our yungins, so they can’t touch us in our entitlements until our grandkids can vote. In the end, everybody ends up with less but hey that’s caring government. What is it they care about again? Luckily Harper’s gone, so that’s worth paying more taxes – right? Plus he can carry the blame when this s**t show thunders in under the weight of its “enlightened” despotism.
What about the working poor, hammered further by “carbon pricing?”
C’mon, they’ll get through it. They’ve survived it before – they’re tough. They’ll appreciate our compassion though. Remember, it’s for middle class, they’re the ones in crisis, remember?
Take your worst rational (at least) thoughts about what JT might do. Good, now you have a start point.
After all it’s just climate justice he seeks, the dear ardent, his wisdom dripped upon us with our environment ministry now addended with climate change. Yes, we have a minister in charge of climate change; that’s what I mean by more. Stay tuned for the meaning of much more.
Number 3 coming soon if not already here. 97 to go. This shouldn’t take too long.
