  1. While were waiting…
    Watching CTV’s Robert Fife and Craig Oliver pissin their shorts;
Oliver: “The natural governing party is naturally back, governing” (That didn’t take long, you old Libtard Journo)
Fife: (Warning, this may be very depressing) “The White House and Barrack Obama are pleased with Justin Trudeau becoming the new Prime Minister. They both share the same visions in many respect specifically with International affairs and working closely with the United Nations…” (Goodbye Canada strong and free)

  2. Just listening to the live broadcast on the radio and no doubt it will be covered on Mother Corp. and it sounds like a coronation. I was wondering, and this may come across as sour grapes, but when Harper was sworn in did they cover it like this? Hoping some of you can find an answer.

  3. I think Katie’s going to wear out her exclamation mark character on her blackberry”!!!!” You can tell she’s just wetting her pants waiting for PM Zoolander to walk past her”!!!”
Sadly, this fawning all over the frat boy king is what we can expect from the Media Party for at least a year or two to come”!!!”

  4. Wow! Sure are a lot of stupid Canucks around. Oh well. I got my beer and popcorn for the next 4-5 years. My bucks are out of their reach, and my feet are up!

  5. No sour grapes buddy, you are seeing what many are seeing. CTV and especially the natural Liberal media of Canada, CBC are having multiple orgasms and their presentation is over the top. They giggle (Rosie Barton and especially Hannah Thibodeau can barely contain herself), their commercial format on the event is all razzle dazzle with Prince Justin’s big close up, chin up a la Obama picture and lots of red and Canadian flags all around.
It’s like Royalty visiting but not the old Queen but more the giddy mood like Kate and her baby or Princess Diana at the time.
I do remember Harper’s was much more sumber, like a funeral. It was minimal coverage and quickly done with. No surprise. it was surprising Harper lasted 10 years actually in such a hostile media, pop culture environment.

  6. It is disgusting! They should be fact checking as they keep saying that it is the first time the public can go in etc, the walk from 24 Sussex wasn’t even crammed with people – just at the end but it is being made to seem that there are throngs! Did anyone catch the attention seeking Maggie Trudeau try to grab the baby when the Justin was approaching but the baby refused to leave the arms of his nanny (hmmmm no daycare?????). This cabinet will have no firsts but will be positioned as so diverse and big tent! What a farce. Hope the media will cover the truth as things unfurl.

  7. Fife still making denigrating comments about former Prime Minister Harper. This as compared with the newly elected Trudeau. Will he never stop?

  8. “Hope the media will cover the truth as things unfurl.”
    Sarcasm, hopefully.
The Canadian MSM is going into a deep slumber for at least the next four years like the American MSM did 7 years ago. UNLESS! Some Conservative does something like breaths too much air, of course.

  9. Yup we’ll be seeing lots of junk over the next few years; even some old models like the Cretien and Martin clunkers are being pulled out of the boneyard and put on display.

  10. The love in is nauseating.
Well if there are any nonpartisan viewers left, watching canadian media, they should get the message.
    Media wing of Liberal Party.
I remember these same fools when Harper won power, the hatred and snit was legion.
On the bright side, the media went all in for Justine, they own it.
Government credibility is spiralling into the depths, even low information voters can feel the push and grab of these lawless bandits.
This multi-Rainbow coalition, NEW Liberal Party(full of the old thieves), has promised everybody every thing, keeping many of these promises will be very interesting.
The “natural ruling party” Yes it seems eastern canadians desire to be so ruled.
The honeymoon will be short and bloody, the media will freeze out all who lose faith in their messiah insisting they are “Bitter Conservatives”.
Using the Obamanation Playbook, I guess the Indians will be used as the Northern Negro, encouraged to be lawless and further marginalized by government “help”.
I can’t wait for the great solving of the Native women’s murder mystery.
We will have a long drawn out show.
    Then the silence will begin.
Oh native criminals are killing their friends and family?
Who knew that the supreme court leniency stupidity would allow such butchery?
Liberal solution? Pardon all violent native offenders.
The elected and appointed royalty of Canada are going to provide us with great comedy, hopefully we will reward their theft and stupidity.
Possibly by using those spinning crucifixes of their religion.
These otherwise useless gadgets do have sail tip speeds of 200mph.
A little makers ingenuity and Madame guillotine is reborn.

  11. Hopefully the Republicans can show the CPC how to deal with progressive media in the future. But the press is not the reason why this government fell. Far from it.
As another poster mentioned I got a email request from the CPC 2 days after the loss asking for $300 to help rebuild. My long term affinity for the CPC/Reform is on hold.
No party stays in power forever. It is not the loss that bothers me as much as the top
down mentality that evolved over 10 years and the absolute abysmal job of clarifying and communicating a ‘conservative message’. IMHO that messaging starts at the riding level. The CPC does not even have a ‘business plan’ for their riding associations. Absolutely brutal.

  12. Aboriginal justice minister. Nice. She’s a member of a group who:
    1) cannot be pursued by police onto a reservation, even after committing a serious crime;
    2) can hunt and fish out of season, unlike everyone else;
    3) on being sentenced by a judge, must have the “injustices done to their ancestors taken into consideration”;
    4) can demand to be tried by a special aboriginal “sentencing circle” instead of the system other Canadians must submit too.
All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others. We now have one such animal presiding over justice for everyone else.

  13. A group who won 27% of the seats gets 50% of the cabinet positions.
So, 30% of the women elected get cabinet seats as opposed to less than 10% of the men?
Not that I really care. I see a disaster coming and it won’t be on account of the number of women in cabinet. It will be because of the number of Libs in the charge of a substitute drama teacher.

  14. I agree that the media is not the reason why Conservatives lost but there is clearly a strong bias and that never helps.
I saw a Harper that was almost saying; “Please don’t elect us, we are heading for really shitty times which is really out of anybody’s control but the MSM will make us wear it for sure…Much better chance to retake power again in 2019”
Harper, the man, his image has been tarnished almost as thoroughly as they did a job on Mulroney. That’s why IMO, Harper immediately stepped down. Harper will never be PM again like say Pierre Trudeau’s comeback.
A different game is now needed. Conservatives need to embrace the cult of image (Looks) and personality that an increasingly dumbed down, idol worshiping population goes for.
I bet Candice Bergen (The name is great isn’t it) a good looking blonde WOMAN will be the CPC leader. I think she should be, her experience is second in this new reality anyway.
It will be much more difficult for the media to destroy such an “image” without showing their bias and be PC correct above all.

  15. He is an illiterate idiot. Now I’m forgiving of French speaking PMs and their butchery of English as they should forgive my butchery of French. But …. Justin Trudeau is 3/4 Scottish with English as a first language.
When being sworn in, the McGill grad said “The Queen’s hairs and successors” instead of “heirs and successor” That would be an elementary school error. He is really stupid – like his mom, whose hairs I have seen too much of.

  16. Still waiting for that day when a person will be judged “by the content of their character”. Feminists seem to have this white-knuckle fear of a meritocracy — for obvious reasons. Truly capable women don’t need to take advantage of the soft prejudice of diminished expectations.

  17. I personally cannot stomach it. I am not reading any newspapers today, watching TV, radio turned off, etc.
Seeing that idiot commie become PM is more than I can handle. I am in isolation today, except for Kate’s blog.
On top of it the Harper bashing continues….even in the National Post! Screw them all.

  18. I saw that too! Maybe it was on purpose….you know…to inject a little Jean Crouton “edginess”.
CTV just signed off. It appears Lisa needs to wring out her panties and Owl ‘n Fife are going to have a sword fight with the chubbies they’ve been trying to conceal for the last hour.
I’ll enjoy the decline because it’s the LIV’s that will be hit the hardest when they get the sledgehammer of reality when the orgy is over.

  19. The press is a very big reason why the CPC fell. For ten years they have been putting forward a false narrative intended to make Harper and the Conservatives look bad. Their assault has been relentless. Everything Harper did was sneered at and criticized. No wonder so many Canadians are so deluded. Hope they enjoy the lefty eutopia. It won’t end until we are all taking marching orders from the UN.

  20. Why on earth are you people watching CTV? You curse it up, down and sideways yet by watching it you legitimize them? Cut your cable and stop it.
Stop buying newspapers too. Get your news online.
That is how you defeat the old media.
Postmedia lost $264 million last year. They have $630 million in debt and another $150 million in employee liabilities. Do you realize how DONE they are? There is absolutely no way they can ever pay it off. Ever.
Any day they will be announcing that they are going into bankruptcy protection and their presses will stop. So please, hasten their departure and do not buy their papers, subscribe to or visit their website or advertise with them.
Torstar and the Globe do not announce their earnings as they are part of larger media groups. But guaranteed they are in the same terrible shape.

  21. Normy posted this bit of crack journalism which generates an apparent fiction about our Centaur PM (Shiny Pony’s Body with the Gerald Butts Brains) winning not one but two World Debating competitions in the early 1990s.
    https://twitter.com/nspector4/status/661893944993673216
Which google and wiki tell me isn’t true.
    http://www.uccphilosoph.com/wiki/World_Universities%27_Debating_Championships#Past_hosts_and_champions
McGill won once in the 1991 and neither Butts nor Trudeau are listed as winners. Maybe they carried the water?
I pray our Centaur PM governs well.

  22. Stéphane Dion – Foreign Affairs.
    Chrystia Freeland – International Trade
John McCallum – Immigration, Citizenship and Refugees
    Excuse me for a moment………….
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
*Wiping tears of laughter* Oh, this is going to be priceless!

  23. “Did anyone catch the attention seeking Maggie Trudeau”
    She was there????
    Was Gerraldo Rivera with here???

  24. Appointing a “diverse” cabinet is an admission that Liberals don’t think that women or minorities can get there through merit. It is, in fact, a cabinet chosen on the basis of bigotry.
It is fundamentally ludicrous to select a cabinet based on diversity. Running a country is not like running your local social club. By not insisting on only the best for the job Trudeau is simply not taking Canada nor its governance seriously. Canada is simply being used for Progressive posturing.
They are all disgusting and contemptible pieces of feces.

  25. And the mythology grows:
    https://twitter.com/GetachewS/status/661895568139120640
Trudeau says he debated Cruz and this guy says he beat Cruz. Is any of this true? Did Trudeau actually do the debating? Did he debate Cruz? Or, was it manipulated to look that way by the human component of our Centaur PM and those dedicated to mythologizing them?
The love-in that is means when it comes to our Centaur PM the media will skip the fact checking.

  26. Think this might be a symbol of what’s to come?
They arrive on a bus, they walk to the GG’s residence. They leave in a chauffeur-driven limo.
Can the son of ad scam, be far in the future?

  27. Things to look for:
    1. How much real authority will The Boy have?
    2. How much will the Wynne back-room boys be the real power, i.e. who’s in the PMO?
    3. Will Bombardier get a quick dose of “stimulus”? What will they say in Beaches in Toronto?
    4. Look for some millions to be made by Liberals from dope legalization.
    5. The excuse for not bringing in 25,000 soldiers of allah by Christmas?

  28. Bob Hepburn of the Red T.O Star is clearly a Liberal has been. His predictions of the cabinet that left out any Albertans was wrong. Look who got infrastructure:
    http://www.edmontonsun.com/2015/11/04/edmonton-city-councillor-amarjeet-sohi-a-member-of-trudeaus-cabinet
According to wikipedia: “In 1988, Sohi returned to India and was arrested in the state of Bihar under accusations of terrorism. He was released in 1990 and soon returned to Canada.[4]”
I wonder who in our Media Party will be getting the details of Mr. Sohi’s 1988 visit to his homeland. Does he have dual citizenship? Or, will they just Skip The Fact Checking?

  29. Is it true our new Public Safety Minister will make his first priority to shut down right-wing blogs who foment hate against Liberals?

  30. The comments here are just… WOW!
Honestly, are you guys at a party with Rob Ford or something? Because if I didn’t know better I’d say most of you have been smoking crack.
Relax. These cabinet ministers are likely to be no more incompetent than Harper’s band of miscreants. I’m just gonna leave this here:
    http://www.thebeaverton.com/national/item/2204-50-female-cabinet-appointments-lead-to-5000-increase-in-guys-who-suddenly-care-about-merit-in-cabinet

  31. Get use to it. It is the new reality. It’s a mad world now.
That’s why I say and Breitbart and many others have been saying, the Right desperately needs to get into the cult of personality and looks game.
We need to put some jeans on, take off the tie, show some cleavage and lot’s of slutty make up, get stoned and go on TV shows and more so be funny and vulgar and laugh at the opponent even when it’s not called for or is based on lies. Right wing comedy exists. This year’s season of south Park is a prime example. Tim Allen’s excellent “Last man Standing” is another. We need a Jon Stewart for the right and it will soon come IMO. Right wing entertainment is kicking ass at the box office too and all the Hollywood claptrap is loosing mega dollars instead.
Speaking and behaving like adults is not working when you are trying to communicate with babies. You have to entertain and cuddle them. You have to feed them what they want to hear and you have to get lots of “likes” on your smart whatever gismo the tech zombies are using.
If we are going to be on the side of good and remain with principles we are going to loose until there is a big, huge famine.
    The flood. The cleansing. Whatever.
    God will be back.
It’s the Devil’s game right now and we need to step up to the plate.

  32. Yes. The entire disgusting spectacle is guaranteed to induce an oil of ipecac type reaction on anyone who deals with reality on a daily basis. In fact the whole affair, for some reason, reminds me of the vomiting scene in Stand By Me.
However, on the bright side, rumour has it that Trudeau will move immediately to return the $40 million Adscam lucre to the treasury. This will reduce the effect of the $150 million increase to the CBC subsidy from $410,968 per day to a paltry $301,370.
Isn’t it funny how breaking things like this down to a daily basis kind of brings them into perspective.
Anyway … sorry to bring up Adscam and the CBC in the same paragraph. This could very well be construed as mean-spirited and divisive.

  33. I wouldn’t worry too much ’bout mediaites like Craig Oliver — legally blind for some years now, he’s been ideologically blind since at least the 1970s when he was a personal friend of PET and was covering politics during the same period.  I’m pretty sure CTV keeps him around primarily for his comedic value — he hasn’t had a worthwhile political insight for a very long time, if ever.
And speaking of comedy, why all the long faces?  I expect Trulander’s government to be a rich and highly productive vein of comedic gold to be mined for the next four or five years.  I’m looking forward, par example, to his “infrastructure spending” being designated primarily to a little city you’ve probably never heard of (*COUGH*Montreal*COUGH*), whilst leaving Mayors in the Lower Mainland of B.C. mostly high and dry.
Let’s not forget marijuana, the loco weed, the wacky tabacky, which he’s promised to “decriminalize.”  Yeah, it’ll be decriminalized, all right — the Libs will regulate and tax the Hell out of it, leaving indulgers of Mary Jane longing for the good ol’ days when they could just buy some high quality pot (in many varieties!) from their local ‘hood’s dealer.  The Brave New Toke’s gonna be weaker, lower quality and more expensive than what you can score now, and if you think street dealers and local grow-ops will take up the slack, you’re dreaming in full-on Technicolour™.  Governments enforce the provisions of the Criminal Code only when it suits them politically, but any dealer or grower interrupting the Fed’s new source of excise revenue can expect a one-way rocket ride to the Sun.  Breaking the criminal law is one thing, but nobody screws with a government’s revenues.
Fun times!  And now that we have the Internet in all its mature glory, the Wayback Machine will never be able to forget the broken promises and ethical lapses.

  34. A few things to make a note of and compare every year on the anniversary of Justin being sworn-in as the Clown Prince…
As of November 4, 2015 [most figures from Latest indicators from Stats Canada]:
CPI annual inflation (September 2015): 1.0%
    Unemployment rate (September 2015): 7.1%
    Employment (September 2015): 17,978,000 persons [Population 35,676,770]
    Wages/Earnings (C$ SA; August 2015): $947.12

    Canadian dollar ¢76 US
    Federal Carbon Tax 0%
    GST 5%

  35. A drama teacher as prime minister and an oboe player as natural resources minister
You can’t make this stuff up

  36. There you go again John. The writer of your linked article, like any other spinner can cook up just about anything to inject doubt into the qualification of any person appointed to cabinet. The problem with your argument is that this boy, girl, boy, girl exercise is that it is truly exclusionary: blatantly tail-wagging-the-dog, a prominent feature of zombieland thinking, the basis of your rationale. By your logic there need not be an election, in that from this time on, census software could just pick our leaders from a list of those reflecting the most illustrious assemblage of diverse attributes to showcase our deeply coveted inclusionary ambitions. That would give Canadians a reputation for which we could be so proud. And that’s what it is all about. Isn’t it.

  37. I say ignore the lot of them, let them drift on with their embryo leader who will need more advice than any PM in our history. The CPC and supporters need to concentrate on getting their new leader. Hopefully there will be no mention of gender but rather the best person for the job.
In the meantime let the gloatfest rage on, Fife and Oliver, LaFlamme and Mansbridge et al can now report all the cute things their Justin gets up to as he reigns over the domain.
Nothing else is as important as looks and personality, star power is prime for the air heads we have streaming at us through our TV’s and those making headlines in the printed rags. They don’t seem to realize without an experienced, strong leader they need strong members of cabinet which this Liberal party are lacking. Where will they be seeking advice from? Obama’s crew?
Stephen Harper and his wife Laureen were/are a class act, the world recognized it as well. No PM in our history took more abuse without cause other than extreme jealous hatred without cause.

  38. “… the media is not the reason why Conservatives lost but there is clearly a strong bias and that never helps. …”
The media is not the only reason, but along with the education and entertainment industries it both shapes and reflects the degenerate culture that is the reason. It doesn’t matter if we elect the conservative option from time to time if the conservatives are just the dragging tail end of our whole society’s increasingly quick slide downslope to the progressive/left fads of instant gratification of the whims of the mob. History shows that all societies fail for one reason or another, and this is how democracies go.
Democracy is no more likely to install good governments than any other system of choosing governments, it is only consistently superior in that it more often than not allows us to choose the next without having to pry out the old one with bayonets and/or pitchforks. Getting good government while we are at it depends on what values are held most prevalent in the culture. Stephen Harper said eat your vegetables, and let’s help Mother with the dishes. Justin Trudeau says let’s have our ice cream now. In front of the TV.

  39. I am amazed Fife has any saliva left after the tongue bathing he’s given Trudeau et al, the past couple of days. His stalking of the cabinet candidates at the Ottawa airport yesterday was puke inducing.
