  1. RE: 24 Sussex Drive.
According to what I’ve been able to find, there are reports of ”asbestos in the walls,” wiring that is out of date, and it needs new heating and plumbing.
Most of this is from mainstream media. with intentions of painting a dirty picture in the meek minds of liberals that the Harpers are leaving the home in disarray. Of course no one has asked Mr. Harper what condition it was in when he moved in there with his wife and kids. And none of the sock puppets from CBC have bothered to send us a picture of the alleged disarray, thus we don’t know if any of this is true.
My suggestion to Mme. Sophie is to ask for a nice new bungalow with three garages, a swimming pool, two fireplaces and glass doors on the closets. Why the glass doors on the closets?? Given the people that Justin has hung around with in the last while, you’d want to know what’s going on on in the closets, if you know what I mean. And I hope they let the kids have a couple of cats to take care of the rats and a border collie to herd the sheep! And there are a lot of sheep in Ontario!

  2. That reminds me of the incident noted in these pages a couple of years ago where a U. K. job board refused to include a notice looking for “reliable” employees because it allegedly discriminated against the unreliable.
Discrimination based on race or colour is moronic, but the left wants to expand the definition to ridiculous extremes. This MSNBC host has provided another example of that.

  3. Throughout this last election campaign, I was quite surprised to be able to post any reasonable comment at CBC.Ca with no deletions. Only hours after the election coverage was over however, the deletions started again. This is the worst I’ve seen yet. This story is about Canada Post, that now wants to stop their program that would see door to door delivery of mail service in larger centers. This is the story.

Everyone who deals with Canada Post knows that the major problem there is not whether or not the mail is being delivered in a box or at the front door. The major problem is not getting the mail to the destination on time. My comment (that was deleted) was as follows:
”On Monday August the 24th, 2015, I mailed a letter at Moose Jaw, Sk. that was going to Shell Canada Ltd. in Calgary. The letter got there on Sept. 23, 2015. Should the people of Canada be paying for the errors committed by Canada Post?? I could have walked to Calgary and delivered it by hand faster than Canada Post got it there. I deal with a company in Assiniboia, Sk., about 80 KMs from here, sometimes it takes over a week to get there. Time for an overhaul at Canada Post. In the UK, the Royal Mail was privatized, they now deliver anywhere in England within the same day.” (End of comment)
I have e-mails from Shell Canada that acknowledge the 30 days it took to deliver the letter. As for the privatization of the Royal Mail, that was in Dec. of 2012.

  4. That is hilarious.
The Three Stooges were PhDs compared to that woman.
She is a testament to the old adage:
The difference between intelligence and stupidity is that there is a limit to intelligence.

  5. Do these people not realize that those most likely to be armed are not those pro-global warming but those against? In addition, those most likely to use said weapons are also the same people?

  6. A simple solution for Christian Bakers:
Bake the cake, just refuse to transport it over the counter to the clients.
    http://www.eeoc.gov/eeoc/newsroom/release/10-22-15b.cfm
After all, if muslim truck drivers can refuse to transport alcohol, then Christian bakers can refuse to transport gay cakes.
From the release: “We are pleased that the jury recognized that these – and all – employees are entitled to observe and practice their faith, no matter what that might be.”
    Oh, reallly!!!

  7. Per the Winnipeg Free Press, former Global TV anchor is going to run for the provincial Liberals in the next election.
Must be an anomaly, as the media are balanced, right?

  8. The Prime Minister elect is already doing stuff. He’s meeting with his unofficial deputy PM, Kathleen Wynne, officially presiding over debt ridden Ontario, she’s calling in her favours no doubt. Thing is, Justin hasn’t been sworn in yet so not sure if any deals can be official. It would be fun to have one Liberal promise another Liberal something then not deliver on it, kinda giving themselves a taste of their own medicine.
I expect she’ll give him lots of tips on how to spend millions when you are deep in the red, Justin may need some advice, he’s planning to raise the deficit. Ralphie Goodale, head gaffer and butt kisser of his Liberal PM’s, says there’s never been a better time to run a deficit.
Hold onto your hats and wallets, it could get tough when the wolves come knocking on your door.

  9. Congratulations EBD! You are one of the few, the proud, the MSNBC watchers. There aren’t many so it’s worth a congrats.
As to the inane (or insane?) nonsense that is regularly spewed on MSNBC, this is just more of the same. Welcome to the new world of never ending victim hood (Boo hoo, she’s a proud black women and “SOME of her ancestors 8 to 12 generations ago were slaves” but judging from her light skin, not ALL of them.
It’s really tiresome and it will never end for some people …..

  10. AGW RIP.

“‘Corrupt’ is the word to describe Ontario government’s ties to teachers’ unions”
“Corruption is a strong word, which we don’t often use in Canada when it comes to politics. It infers a blatant disregard for honesty, ethics or principle. But it’s the word that springs to mind when you contemplate the insidious relationship between Ontario’s Liberal government and the teachers unions they do so much to cultivate and please.
    How else to describe it?”

  12. Wrong way round. The Shiny Pony is the deputy PM, under control of Wynne and her advisers and backroom bum-boys.

  13. The pork and processed foods industries should sue these charlatans. The more that the impacted industries push back on these idiots the less we may see of this crap and perhaps (but not likely) we’ll see some real science for a change.

  14. Justin has already given one favour by telling her the federal government will help her with an Ontario Pension Plan if she decides to go ahead. Wynne has said she might not if the feds top sufficiently the Canadian Pension.
