The American Petroleum Institute (API) on Monday criticized the Obama administration for its early start of its final review of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) proposed rule to reduce the allowable concentration of ozone air pollution.
The administration is just now starting the review only one month before a court ordered due date of Oct. 1; the process normally takes 60 to 90 days. API is concerned that the Obama Administration is limiting interagency review of the rule, which could become the most expensive regulation in U.S. history.
The proposed new standards would impose unachievable emission reduction requirements on virtually every part of the United States, including rural and undeveloped areas.

When I was a kid, I was pretty much a child of nature. The acrid smell after a lightning strike – that’s ozone.
So a lack of ozone causes too much radiation while a surplus of ozone causes global warming??? Looks like we’re screwed either way.
I work in the environmental consulting field. And while I make a decent living at it, I have to say I’ve had it up to here with the ever expanding intrusiveness and unattainable expectations of the eco-scold crowd – both the govt of course and the NGOs. Looking for a less stressful line of work. I don’t care what it pays either. I used to delivering flower arrangements. I liked that.
Lets start putting these Tree Huggers and Tree Sitters on these fires it seems to me they are somewhat responsible with their idiotic lawsuits and tree sitting lets also put the leaders of these various eco-freaks or the fires as well
