  1. Kate, how do y6ou even have the stomach to visit rabble.ca? I went there and voted. Suggest all should.

  2. Good grief . Going to the Rabble site always makes me feel in dire need of a shower after I leave. Wipe down the keyboard and give my computer a little pat promising never to do that again. It’s quite forgiving in that way. Showing 15% agree that it was a good budget at this point. Much higher than I expected.

  3. I clicked on the rabble polls tab and was then able to vote. And so I did. What a corrupt, union propaganda cesspool that website is.

  4. Can you get socialist diseases from taking part in a rabble poll? Should I have used protection?

  5. Were on the cusp of having a charter member of Rabble become a prominent politico here in Alberta. rachael notley the leader of the ndp is a died-in-the-wool unionista. She has spent her life in the union movement and now wants to become the Premier.
Kind of reminds me of bob rae when he took over in ON. Once the election was over and he had control, the union bosses took over. Anyone remember bob white? His advice to rae was to default on the provinces debt.
The Rabble crowd. Coming to a theatre near you.

  6. Made it worthwhile to go to that site just to see the ‘happy”s at 61%.
    SDA avalanch! Ha!

  7. Is anyone taking notes / screenshots of this to ensure the nuancing is kept to a minimum?

  8. If the final results continue as they appear to be going tonight that’s one poll that will disappear quickly and never be heard of again.

  9. Yup, wouldn’t shitya. The evenings still young and it looks like we’re the only ones voting. There’s no way in hell rabble would let this stand.

  10. Rabble holds a special place in my heart.
It was the first website that blocked me. I lasted 2 comments.
I had the audacity to ask if anyone knew what the second ‘S’ in USSR stood for ?

  11. Done, also.
After I voted, at, er, the 57% level in this particular pollspotting exercise, I asked my wife, “Who doesn’t like the budget?” She responded that, “The only complaint I have heard, at work, is that “they” [being the, you know, Stephen J. Harper Conservatives] had to dip into the “reservation fund” to balance the budget.”
Which is entirely apt, really, considering that the “reservation fund” (otherwise known as the budgetary contingency account) was a complete fiction created by Paul Martin, Jr. and his former boss, Mr. Chretien to, um…
Say, where are those missing millions, anyway?
“Reservation fund” seems apt also, in light of Mr. Martin’s current proclivities.

  12. Wow! If only a US budget would (a) happen, and (b) enjoy 77% support! Kate gets results!

  13. This is @ 0914hrs AB time.
The Harper government announced its 2015 federal budget this week, and the response has been, well, plentiful.
What do you think of the 2015 federal budget?
    Your vote was registered.
I’m happy to see a balanced budget and a surplus.

I’ve come to expect this from the Conservatives: Prioritizing the wealthy and corporations over public service and people.

It’s an election strategy! It’s catering to the wealthy and their votes.

This budget tells me that the state of Canada’s economy is grim.
