I’ve been to the mountaintop…

…where I commenced to calling out those racist toddlers:

Audio and video has emerged showing Indiana state Rep. Vanessa Summers (D-Indianapolis) going after one of her Republican colleague’s 18-month-old son in attempt to make a point about prejudice during a recent House floor debate over the state’s controversial “religious freedom bill.”

While making her case against the Religious Freedom Restoration Act earlier this week, Summers said of GOP Rep. Jud McMillin’s young son, “I love his little son, but he’s scared of me because of my color — and that’s horrible.”

Don Surber:

Maybe he’s scared of her because she is a big woman with a loud mouth.

  1. I remember my white baby daughter in her stroller coming face to face with a black toddler for the first time. She burst into tears of fright. Natural reaction to someone so different.

  2. At the rate this racist crap is festering there will be more and more rational people who regret we didn’t just say to hell with it and picked our own cotton. Already over represented in advertisement, movies and television with the message that “we are just like you are” , the elected leadership of this 13% minority seem to go out of their way to prove otherwise. Between lowering the bar and affirmative action, the appeasement level has gone beyond what a reasonable majority should have to do when all that’s asked in return is to take advantage of what’s being offered, which is the opportunity to succeed or fail like everyone else in mainstream society. The constant whinging is starting to grate on the nerves. Specially when it’s amplified by the leadership that should know better. But it’s a Democrat mindset, so why would they know better ? How many know the Republicans fought a civil war on their behalf and every roadblock to their success was thrown up by Democrats ? Too damned few. Vanessa Summers is one of them. Yeah, I know,…..I’m a racist. Just like that 18 month old baby.

  3. doan wanna spend my life bein a color! – h/t michael jackson (say watchyawanna)

  4. This lady is nuts to say such a thing. Obviously, babies go into flight mode when presented with any person or experience that is unfamiliar.

  5. Teaching children that they are inherently bad from their earliest moments or that they should imagine problems where none exist is stunting emotionally but can be quite advantageous to an unscrupulous racialist.
A wise Jewish carpenter had a clear idea of what should be done about such people.

  6. It’s been going on for awhile kiddies. My now 24 year old granddaughter was with me at 6 months old and her reaction when she met her first black person was to cower in her stroller, until this lady came over and said what a beautiful child and held her hand. I actually think I cowered more when she called me the Dad, not Granddad. Worked okay though. She apologized, I blushed, and she, I ,and baby went for a coffee and milk. To this day she has no fear of blacks, but she does have a very healthy respect of ANY color that appears or acts aggressive at first meeting. Or maybe it’s the tazer she carries, which is illegal here, but I also told her, better to be “judged” BY 12 than carried by 6.

  7. My dear little racist daughter used to cry when anyone without blond hair picked her up. When we bought burgers from some Edmonton Eskimos at a charity event, 300 lb and black as the proverbial …., she hid behind me every step. I’m sure black babies cry upon seeing their first whitie (pinkie?) To criticize an 18 month old, you have to be pretty clueless.

  8. Uh, did anyone get that – it was so subtle and convoluted but didn’t she just slander that guy as a “racist” without any objective proof what so ever? I mean in a more civil era he should sue her fat race baiting slandering ass off and the legislature would punt her from the house.
However in this new age of racism, where minority/leftist racism and slander is considered a holy right, he can only tear up and apologize for the color he was born with – the historic record will call the Obama political era one of racial turmoil due to the political legitimization of minority group bigotry and racism.
