  1. You can pretty much guarantee that the organizers who screwed this up never spent one second in the military firing weapons. Why would wusses want to get involved if it wasn’t to deliberately sabotage the organization. These are the little guys, under 13. I don’t think there is an Army or Air Force equivalent that young but – all the more power to them.

  2. Lynn Hawkeye is the leading ‘bed wetter’ for the organization…
she probably needs to change her sheets and sail under a different moniker.
So they can’t hold a drill rifle, maybe the cadets will have to carve
them out of local branches with their SWISS ARMY KNIFE!
    Cheers

  3. With the lefts aversion to guns I wonder where they think the next generation of military and police forces will come from ? Do they honestly believe that any nation that gives up the ability to defend itself and or its citizens will survive for even one generation without flying the flag of a conqueror or under the complete control of the human garbage that remains unopposed or deterred by cute little signs stating gun free zones ? Are these people insane ? Don’t bother answering that, we already know.

  4. Well said Brian. I sent the wusification chief an email decrying this decision and suggesting that they change the name Navy League to Boy Scouts as that would be more suitable.
I started with Navy Cadets in grade 9 in one high school and army cadets in another school in grade 10. We had real rifles.
But the PC crowd want to make pantywaists of boys these days.

  5. Lynn Hawkeye? Her very name smacks of militarism and use of weapons. No more microagressions! Waaaaahhh.

  6. Holy schmolly. Good thing these goons weren’t at my last Nov11th at the Legion! We would still be cleaning up the crap!!!

  7. All you extreme right wingers want to militarize the military. Just make treaties with our enemies, no need for arms.

  8. I was in Navy league Cadets, then Royal Canadian Sea Cadets. At summer camp I carried a sword on parade and we went to the local army base and learned how to strip and assemble and shoot FN rifles.
My son is in scouts and took part in a district wide air rifle tournament, so don’t “dis” the boy scouts. My son has had a good experience in scouts, my only concern is that his troop is three quarters girls.

  9. So while little nine year old jihadists execute bound prisoners in the Levant with guns and knives, our little future peacekeepers can’t parade with make believe guns. Makes me think of ‘Dad’s Army’ preparing for the German invasion and parading around the village square with broomsticks. The ‘fifth columnists’ already in the country must have a hard time trying to convince the imams and mullahs of the joke that is being perpetrated on Canada by the leftists in this country. “Sic vis pacem, para bellum” is not translated as stick your fingers in your ears, close your eyes and hum Kumbaya as the leftists would have us believe…. God we are so hooped!!!!

  10. Y’know this has been coming on for a long time now. Youth organizations have a devil of a time getting parents, read dads, to participate in their activities. This is particularly true of the groups that the boys would be more inclined to.
One of the reasons is that the dads don’t want the risk associated with being accused of kiddy fiddling, a very realistic concern.
As a result of men backing off, women have moved in and usurped our role.
    Sad state of affairs.

  11. Progholes ruin everything they touch, and then call you a stupid bigot.
Hopefully none of the kids bites a pop-tart into the wrong shape. She’ll have him publicly shamed and tossed from the organization for life.

  12. And the emasculation of the Canadian male continues, When the next war comes, and it will come, those who should be trained and prepared to defend our country will be nowhere to be found. How easily the Trudopians have convinced our society that we should roll over and play dead. It started with Pierre the 1st and continues with Justine the Worst. Like they say “every country has an army whether its your army or someone elses depends on how prepared and capable you are to defend whats yours”.

  13. This to be expected when housewives think cadet leaders are den mothers…..
    It’s cadets not cubs….

  14. Well SP, I know why he didn’t; we won’t let anyone into the Country that can’t spell “Canada”.
    Unless they’re Muslim.

  15. “Sic vis pacem, para bellum”
That should be on every flag in this country. Plain and simple. Without it, you have only war.

  16. They should just force them to wear pink uniforms, the effect is the same.
Guaranteed to lower the cadet enrolment to be sure – well voluntary enrolment that is.
The Liberal Left will never stop until Canada’s white male youth are running around in thongs with bongs stuck to their mouths.

  17. Joe Citizen “Like–maybe the Government of Canada needs to flex their muscles here??”
The federal government controls the 12 to 19 Sea Cadets which are run by the Navy League. They do not control the 9 – 12 Navy League Cadets. I do think that Navy League Cadet officers are given Navy commissions but that is minimal control.

  18. Guns are 75 % of the reason young men joint up … a cool uniform is the other 25%,
Pretty soon it will be no guns in the military … who needs them for humanitarian Bullocks anyway.
And how about something a bit more colorful on the drab uniforms .. perhaps a multicolored scarf …. like a rainbow thingy …
Ww have truly lost our way.

  19. The good news is, that when the civil war in the west finally comes, there will be a lot of dead “progressives” who refused to learn how to use a gun…

  20. SEan. Progresivists/liberls are too busy praciticing how to grovel and kiss the feet of the radicals and such and learning how to be like a serf while laying in fields of flowers and ending up dead

  21. Don’t know about Canada, but south of the Canadian border Boy Scouts can still get merit badges in rifle, shotgun, and archery. And, we do let our Scouts carry knives, after proper training, except when we cross the border to go to Canadian Camporees.
