  1. U.S. Oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens, the alternative energy guy, turns on Obama
“To my friends in Calgary and across Canada: I apologize on behalf of my fellow Americans for the United States government’s actions.
Why? Because after years of poring over the engineering, design, geology and the contents of the proposed Keystone XL pipeline, President Barack Obama chose to make a political statement and vetoed a bill to allow construction to begin.
I feel bad about this. I lived in Canada in the 1960s. You have a great country, and it’s a great place to operate in the oil and gas sector. We should have done better by you.”

  2. Poland getting ready to fight the Russians.
“KALISZ, Poland — For evidence of how much President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia has jangled nerves and provoked anxiety across Eastern Europe, look no farther than the drill held the other day by the Shooters Association.
The paramilitary group, like more than 100 others in Poland, has experienced a sharp spike in membership since Mr. Putin’s forces began meddling in neighboring Ukraine last year.”

Ya, I know, I know, it is from the New York Slimes. Forgive me.

  3. Why when there is corruption and fraud is there most times a Liberal involved.
“OPP union’s CAO fired amid fraud allegations
Karl Walsh has been sacked as the RCMP investigates financial activities by him and two other top OPP Association officials
Walsh, who ran unsuccessfully for the provincial Liberals in Barrie in the 2011 election, was previously placed on administrative leave by the OPPA board of directors because of the RCMP investigation.
The unproven allegations against Walsh and two other top OPPA officials are contained in an affidavit used to obtain search warrants executed by the RCMP late last week. They claim that Walsh, union president Jim Christie and vice-president Martin Bain committed theft, breach of trust, fraud, and laundering the proceeds of crime.”

Again, I apologize for bringing a news item from a leftist media, The Red Star.

  4. Are they still blaming the snoin the east on Global Warming/Climate Change? that crack-pot NASA wank JAMES HANSEN did a few years ago when they had the big hard winter here in the west

  5. Israel is one thing but what are the implications for Canada? Is Obama going for his own regime change scenario given the apathy with our prime minister and our issues of which keystone is only one example. The liberals have already coordinated with Obama’s election advisors and we see the unions cranking up. Next I suspect that the avaaz organization that assisted Obama and the Canadian offshoot leadnow to rev up. Where is their funding and coordination coming from? Is Obama interfering in our election?

  6. Mohammed’s Murderer: “Abdul Malik Rustam”.
    …-
“The Toronto burqa murder: The true story everyone who thinks the niqab is optional needs to read”
“(Special for TheRebel.media by John Goddard) — When her baby got a heart transplant at Toronto’s Sick Children’s Hospital, Bano Shahdady threw away her burqa.
At twenty years old, after years of religious training, she also decided to return to public high school. With help from her son’s doctors and a social worker, she arranged to rent an apartment to leave her parents and husband.
It was there, two weeks after she moved in, that police found her strangled to death, her son left alone with the body for 15 hours, murdered by a man hiding his identity behind a burqa.
On Wednesday, the husband Abdul Malik Rustam was sentenced to life in prison for the murder with no chance of parole for 17 years.”

  8. A CBC poll that went horribly wrong, without any help (that I know of).
It will never be mentioned by any CBC personality that values their job.
On March 13 we asked: Is the niqab an insult to the dignity of women?
    Here are the results:
    – Yes: 2338 votes (72%)
    – No: 674 votes (21%)
    – Unsure: 217 votes (7%)
    http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/power-politics-ballot-box-question-niqab-ban-1.2992834
    Oh another …
On March 12 we asked: Should there be limits on where and when the niqab can be worn?
    Here are the results:
    Yes: 1446 votes (55%)
No: 113 votes (42%) (math is hard)
    Unsure: 87 votes (3%)
Even though the CBC readers themselves reject the CBC/JT premise about the niqab, the CBC still pushes the meme that PMSH and his supporters are fear-mongering xenophobic racists. They were doing it today on their “Sunday Morning Scrum”.
BTW, why is it nver mentioned that Rosemary Barton and JT’s star candidate Adam Vaughn were quite an item and have a child together? Hmmm.
The CBC is the main player in the debates.
They will put forth the questions. They will declare the winner and who threw the ‘knockout punch’.
    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

  9. This is more than a bit strange;
” Riyadh: Saudi women plan to turn a controversial fatwa (religious ruling) to their advantage and launch a campaign to achieve their long-standing demand to drive in this conservative kingdom.
If the demand is not met, the women threatened to follow through the fatwa which allows them to breastfeed their drivers and turn them into their sons.
The campaign will be launched under the slogan: “We either be allowed to drive or breastfeed foreigners,” a journalist told Gulf News…
… Later, Al Obaikan clarified that his fatwa was being distorted by the local media which ignored the condition that the milk should be drawn out of the woman and given to the man in a cup to drink. ”

  10. AGW RIP.
“Experts are comparing the power shift to 12 power plants being shut down, followed by 19 plants being switched on. The impact is enhanced if it’s on a sunny day.
In fact, if the day is overcast the effect of the eclipse is expected to be negligible.”
    …-
“Solar eclipse puts Germany’s power grid to the test”
“Germany’s electrical grid has a high reliance on solar power—a quality that will be tested when the moon passes in front of the sun and blocks much of its light.
The event will cause the grid to feel a sudden drop, followed by a surge in power. The changes will have to be balanced by Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems.”

  11. Once again Wallyj, “progressives” never feel the need for consistency, their own bias or hypocrisy is not a problem. They only use that to judge others; that only matters when their prejudice and self interest allows them to “perceive” what others think (IOW they don’t agree with any other viewpoint/doctrine, so being infinitely enlightened, judge it to be xenophobic, racist or whatever) and then, of course, villainize them. The fact Joe and Mary Sixpack, who pay for their lifestyle, don’t share their ideas well – they just have unenlightened ideas rather than progressive ideals – so they’ll come around to the point where we don’t have to listen to them anymore anyway.
As for the CBC it has finally drilled down to its lowest common denominator – a progressive, metrosexual and metropolitan caricature of Canada, which like a holodeck on the starship Enterprise, ceases to exist outside their hallowed halls.
It’s a symptom of the meme campaign Justin Trudeau plans to run – budgets balance themselves, people who have a problem with abortion are not acceptable for public life, all Senators are corrupt therefore unfit to assist in election campaigns and now, common sense measures around citizenship oaths and dealing with Islamist terrorists are simply the meanderings of mean spirited extreme right wingers, again not enlightened enough for “Canadians,” who of course are the “majority.” The fact the Tories won a majority last time is an inconvenient truth and obviously caused by unfair “undemocratic” forces. Democracy is only fair when the Grits win power; remember their cynical attempt at the first minority coalition in western parliamentary history.
Not enlightened enough for “Liberals” that is. But when you operate in an echo chamber where everyone agrees with your views, and contrary positions are not welcome, and/or insulated from any need to consider by the CBC and the rest of the mediocracy – this slanted Gritview of Canada emerges. Obama managed to somehow convince the voter they were socialist, a part of government, that they didn’t build anything, bureacrats did – so Justin will try too. Let him – the dynamics (Mulcair eating his lunch, the Obamasheen has worn off, Harper is the incumbent and a better campaigner than Romney) portend his utter defeat.
I think most already know the federal election campaign will be a race for second place, not the PMO.

“Searching for light in war-torn Syria”
“A dark shadow falls across Syria as a punishing war enters its fifth year.
It’s not just that satellite imagery has revealed the night sky is 83% darker because so much infrastructure has been destroyed, and millions forced to flee their homes .”
“You see it in the eyes of millions of Syrian children and exhausted parents, displaced from their homes, or forced into exile, who now realise their dream of going home, going to school, was just that – a dream.
You see it in the anguish of young educated Syrians who, four years ago, were stirred by the tantalising prospect of peaceful political change. They gambled almost everything, including their future, on this shimmering prize, and now anguish that they lost almost everything in return.”

LAHORE, Pakistan – Suicide bombings outside two churches in Lahore killed 14 people and wounded nearly 80 others during services on Sunday in attacks claimed by a faction of the Pakistani Taliban.
Sunday’s attacks occurred minutes apart in a majority Christian suburb of the eastern city. Police said they targeted two churches, one Catholic and one Protestant, that are very close to each other.

Padded order books and delivery delays preceded the demise of Rongsheng Heavy Industries, once the country’s busiest shipbuilder”
“(Beijing) – Piles of rusty steel bars and old ship parts are virtually all that’s left of a sprawling shipyard in the eastern city of Rugao, where Jiangsu Rongsheng Heavy Industries Group Co. used to employ more than 30,000 people.
Once China’s largest shipbuilder, Rongsheng is on the verge of bankruptcy. Orders have dried up and banks are refusing credit. Questions have been raised about the shipyard’s business practices, including allegations of padded order books.”
