We find that the incident radiation exhibited zonal oscillations, with up to 30 W/m2 of spurious variations. This feature can affect the interpretation of regional climate and diurnal variation of CMIP5 results.

Up to 30 W/m2 of variations don’t have as much effect as the estimated 1.6 W/m2 of forcing due to added CO2 (the gas of life) in the air. All the models say so. And the models largely agree, so they must be right. Stop looking out the window to see the weather, you’re baking to death. Trust me, I have a computer. And I’m from out of town. And… and… and…. I also understand the marginal forcings decrease as CO2 atmospheric levels increases, thus reducing the marginal anthropogenic warming, and therefore its effect.

About a week ago I began debating a liberal on the Internet.
Within days, I was assaulted with logical fallacies, deflection,

Archer Daniel Midland. Once I got him to settle on a single subject,
we debated the Republican “Southern strategy” and racism.
This loon actually believes that our evil racist overlords are
communicating with the faithful (us) using a dog whistle. In
language only redneck bigots can understand, we receive our
marching orders to grab our white sheets, Confederate flags and
lynching ropes. He went on to explain that only racists can hear
these words and as a good liberal and non-racist, he and his kind
cannot hear these words.
The logical fallacy is that if liberals cannot hear these words,
how do they know about them if only we can hear them? I listened
to a speech by Reagan from 1980 that he cited. No code words,
no hidden meaning, this was not a Bob Dylan song! The inescapable
conclusion is that liberals are hearing voices in their heads,
but I will save that for mental professionals.
If they are this illogical on the subject of race, how far will they

Many scientists are not actually very intelligent people, They have a specialized skill, of getting grants; in part because their own kind evaluate the grant proposals.
Note that “some”, “many” etc. does not mean “all”. There are still some clever people in physics.
