One of the signs of societal collapse is the lack of moral fortitude such as shown by Sky News. The motto for today’s chattering classes is “Better Red than dead”.

Been racking my brain trying to think of an example of a news report showing clips of people lining up to get there’s hands on a product that’s in high demand but the product itself is not actually shown. There are none. Cowards. Average Parisians who line up to get their hands on the mag are actually displaying more courage than those in these newsrooms. But hey, it’s not all bad. The past week MSM have taken a major blow in the credibility and integrity dept. If this further advances their decline in relevance in the eyes of the public then that’s a good thing.

  13. I think the enemy he is referring to is within our own society. The radical Islamic threat did not exist in 1982 in the manner that it does today. The domestic enemy that Bell was talking about actually seems to be in a coalition with Al Qaeda, ISIL and the Charlie assassins et al.

  14. Agreed. In fact the article makes no mention of Islam, Muslim, or jihad. Instead he speaks of “the enemy which is among us … using ideas and words as weapons” which I take as alluding to nihilistic lefties and the “traditional religion” being abolished is the Judeo-Christian culture.

  16. Progressivism is a relatively new disease. Traditional religion is not. Wahhabiism dates back largely unchanged to the 19th C, and it’s been allied with tyranny from its inception. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem is just one prime example. And in islamic terms, wahhabiism is as traditional as you can get.

  19. Hopefully what the Euros are experiencing will teach us in NA the real risks of bringing more Muslims here. Islam has serious questions to answer so that the rest of the world can determine if the cultures are compatible. My take to date is that is not.
    That said our politicos fight for the immigrant vote by encouraging more immigration (Liebels/Dippers) or by the CPC who actually do it.

Some of the first policies enacted in Bolshevik Russia were designed to begin the destruction of the traditional family and replace it with the “New Soviet Man”. Progressives, Marxists in a seemingly non-threatening nomenclature, have just carried on the same policies slowly but surely.
    And again, Bell was speaking only domestically in western cultures.
