I am somewhat reluctant to say this, but usually when the person with whom you are discussing something cannot form a rational, cogent argument, you would say they are either too young and immature or if they are an adult, they possibly have a mental disorder. I don’t hear any rational arguments here.
    Unfortunately it increasing seems those teaching towards degrees in the humanities belong under care in an asylum. It also seems that they have increasing influence over legislation.

  9. Okay, I tried, I honestly did, but I couldn’t make it past the 3:34 minute mark, and sadly, that is three minutes I’ll never get back.
    Not only are these nut jobs putting human emotions and feelings to animals but they assume they are LGBTQSTP or whatever.
    Are there any non-English speaking GLGTQs’ out there and how do they handle the languages that put gender on everything (le, la, lui, leur and les comes to mind)?
    Is the steak… err, cow in the first part “…enjoying himself…” in the first place? How did she know the cow was a he? Yeah, I know, cows are female and bulls are male…
    A cat walking on the counter seems to be okay. I wonder if me walking on the counter would be okay too?
    Besides, most animals are delicious, I doubt if LGTBEQS are.

  19. You can’t make this stuff up. It has to be for real, at least in the sense its a behaviour that has occurred. It reminds me of a time when I was hitchhiking to Hyannisport and van full of commune types picked me up. There really are lost souls out there and this excellent evidence they exist.

  21. If you wonder why the push for animal “personhood” (yet unborn humans are lifeless “tissue” to be slaughtered without oversight) you have to think like a degenerate lefty 5th columnist (the types who organize and drive these seemingly insane social memes).
    From lefty’s viewpoint once you establish animals as legal persons, you can then expand the state control regime into the private lives/domiciles/families of citizens even deeper. Just as having a child is now an open invitation for official busybodies, cops and CPS raids on a whim, or owning an old duck gun opens your home to police inspection/raids, now having a pet will allow “rescue” workers to inspect or raid private residences on hearsay of abuse or fabricated due cause. Harming or abusing animal “persons” will be a criminal code offence, have criminal penalties and an agency enforcement – watch, its a pattern.
    It’s about injecting the authoritarian state into every aspect of private life – now that’s the type of control Hitler and Stalin only dreamt about.

  34. We are not becoming a sick society, we are becoming a society increasingly cynical and detached from the (alleged) elites. That is not necessarily a bad thing.

  35. We have a cat in our house that is pampered better than any other cat on the planet. He has 8 acres upon which to roam and hunt mice. He gets warm milk in the morning. He sleeps on any bed in the house he chooses. We and our children are gentle with him and know how to rub his chin in just the right way to make him purr with delight. He more or less gets whatever he wants.
    I also like a thick steak on the grill.
    I don’t see how these two approaches to animals are incompatible.

  45. This is the next scam the Lefties are pulling out of their @sses to maintain their position on the moral high ground. They’ve lost at or worn out their gun control, climate control, tobacco control, liquor control and equal rights control scams, so now they’ll have a crack at food control. If they can control the food chain they can keep their power.
    This is at the same stage as gun control was back in the 1950’s. Viewed as a farce. Just let them keep nibbling away though, and you’ll be paying $100 a pound for hamburger at the licensed Animal Slaying market before you know it. And feeling guilty for not being a Vegan too. Smokers are not proud of their smoking, for the most part these days, right? Being a carnivore is going to get you the same treatment.
    Or we could just BEAT them this time. Be a nice change, eh?
