  1. Rex confused me. When he referred to the worlds biggest dictatorship was he referring to the US or China?

  2. If you cannot take the word of a turbo-charged industrial megapower, run by a communist dictatorship, on a formless pledge 16 years into the future … whose word can you take?

I don’t know, Joe. I’m still trying to work out whether this quote is about China or the States and Obama too!

  3. Obola just signs an Executive Order and it all happens or goes away, just like a like a storybook fantasy for Serial Killers.
As far as China goes, again we did it to ourselves.

  4. Yes! Canada should take the same deal as China. Obama just got BS he thinks he can use on the stupid people. What a fraud!

  5. Herr Obola governing by vapid diktat…und ist exhaling far too much CO2 for his own good.
CO2 is hardly gassing the planet, it is a trace element in the atmosphere.
Increased CO2 will enhance the ‘greening of the planet’ via photosynthesis known as the oxygen cycle.
Meanwhile, the Chinese economy will eclipse the US economy because Obola has put a brake on economic activity.
    AMNESTY for CO2!

  6. “a promise in a rented tuxedo”
    Just priceless.
“a Salesman President — all pitch and little product.”
Another verbal gem. My only quibble with Rex is a minor one. What product? I’ve yet to see any concrete achievement by Obama during his entire six years except the remorseless slide of the relevance of the United States. Even Obamacare, has only been partly implemented.

  7. Obola is the best damn gun salesman the US ever had. That’s kind of like a product isn’t it?

  8. The promise of equality is the blandishment that puts the (post) modern liberal mind to sleep. It is the liberal’s soporific elixir par excellence; its Kryptonite, brandished by the savvy despot Obama. Equality also explains why Canada would never qualify for China’s “deal” (Why, Rex’s mocking suggestion alone has liberals grasping their pearls and reaching for the fainting couch.) The climate change gambit is, as the kids say, “all about” punishing the “privileged” and rewarding the “marginalized”, otherwise known as redistribution of goods; otherwise known as the right thing to do, all in the name of equality, that unargued-for and assumed axiom at the bottom of the liberal mind. Canada, they believe, deserves the very treatment Obama is giving the US. Justin T can’t wait to administer us that harsh medicine.

  9. ”So this great historic deal is really nothing more than yet another trot out of verbal commitments, a last gasp for Mr. Obama, a placation to the always fierce warming constituency, and for the Chinese, a little chuckle or two at how easy it is to charm the eagerly gullible.”
Yes,I bet all of America’s adversaries are enjoying a chuckle at the USA,and have been for six years now.
Rex is absolutely correct,Stephen Harper should step into a news conference and announce Canada will make the same pledge as China just did.If he’s as politically astute as his followers believe, he should be on this right now.
How could the Opposition possibly complain if Canada agrees to a ”deal” that was lauded all over the mainstream Press?

  10. “… last gasp for Mr. Obama”—wishful thinking, Rex. As he’s made clear, Obama is defiant of the US Constitution, Congress, Law and the electorate. His conceit and ambition will cause his make to slip, as it did the other night on amnesty. Prepare for more and worse.

My first thought as well. There were TWO sides to this agreement.
Amazing that this has passed over so many peoples’ heads.

  12. This deal gives China the incentive to build as many coal-fired power plants as it can over the next 16 years, so that it peak CO2 emissions in 2030 are the highest possible.
This is assuming, of course, that China gives a rat’s ass about keeping to the agreement.

  13. The Chinese leadership are realists. They know how much this deal means. The big zero – not so much. The failure in this “deal” is the MSM endorsement and adulation for a patent sham.
I’m with Rex – Canadians should wholeheartedly endorse the Chinese position and adopt it as our own.

  14. One would have thought that the Chinese were smarter than that: Further degrading the economy of their biggest debtor and one of their biggest markets isn’t too bright, IMHO.

  15. Heh – killing the competition for grasping commie monopolists – killing his own nation’s competitive advantages – all hail Americas most un-American POTUS.
The reason this scumbag isn’t doing time at Leavenworth for treason is the Fed party system is as corrupt as he is – it can’t cope with punishing corruption and treason because it engages in these daily.

  16. Maybe we can get Maurice Strong to adopt Justin T then the Shiny Pony can move to the country that he admires the most to live with his new adoptive parent. Strong should have lots of room in his Bejing penthouse for his Canadian protege who believes so much of the same c**p as he does.

  17. He was just warming up in China. Wait til you see the the Iran deal. It’ll blow you away.

  18. Much is being made of Barack Obama’s “deal” with China…by the ass lickers in the media.

  19. …degrading the economy of their biggest debtor and one of their biggest markets…
The Chinese may be so keen on world domination that they’d be happy if their decadent trading partner self-destructed. China would be the only big military power left and then some trusting souls might be surprised to find that a communist dictatorship can never be trusted.

  20. “…and then some trusting souls might be surprised to find that a communist dictatorship can never be trusted.”
    Justin Turdeau admires them.
