  1. Honesty is a bourgeois value used by polar bear haters to destroy the planet. Shame on SDA!

  2. make it up if it doesn’t exist. lie, lie and lie again. lie by omission if necessary. just keep on lying.

  3. One of the main tenants of Marxism is to lie about everything and anything that advances their goals.

  4. You mean, the left really means it, when they shout ( with clenched fist, raised) ” By any means necessary! ” ?

  5. Yes, but the ones doing the shouting are the useful idiots of the behind the scenes manipulators.

  6. Kate: Steve Goddard has made some pretty basic errors in the past. I would hesitate to present his data without a second opinion to back it up. A more robust illustration, not subject to the same questions, can be found in the work of Jennifer Marohasy. I think you’ve linked to her stuff before. If not:

  7. Kate,
That flashing orange colored heating graft makes me feel so much warmer down here at the beach.
Walking on the beach with that cold wind in your face is not very pleasant.
Never thought I would see wood burning smoke covering the marshes, but beach lovers have to stay warm.
Temperature is predicted to drop around 28 degrees Thursday,
some of that Al Gore Glowbull Warming would help keep the turtles safe.

  8. Funny that, how older temperatures are always adjusted down and never up to ‘prove’ global warming and voting machines always switch Republican to Democrat.
Fearless Leader, what beach are you talking about? It’s already below freezing every night here in Eastern Ontario which is normal.

  9. Off topic a wee bit again…sort of related.
Just a bump. Thanks to those who previously responded.
There’s a poll over at the Lethbridge Herald.
    http://lethbridgeherald.com/commentary/
Do you think there needs to be more investment in renewable energy sources?
I am sure the Herald is looking for a wide response. I think the poll will close soon.
    Thanks for your input.

  10. Almost all elected officials grew up in a world of law, finance or civil service. They really don’t have a clue on climate change and I would venture that most bloggers on this site are better educated on the subject than they are. Politicians have always been driven by the herd mentality as well as the path of least resistance. Most surround themselves with like minded advisors. Obama , Cameron, Blair,Trudeau etc. would be a perfect example of that. Harper, not so much. As Ken @9:11 stated. The real action and money is always behind the scenes and that requires legions of useful idiots . Any lie repeated often enough will become the truth. That has always been the bread and butter philosophy of Marxism and all governments when it’s convenient. The defence has always been a free press but as we have noticed with few exceptions, they have also been swallowed up by the useful idiots. That’s the bottom line. Climate change is driven by useful idiots. So in that respect, Blair was right.

  11. fearless, I have a photo of me, sitting in the courtyard at our condo. I have the same clothes on that I wear when playing golf in October and November if possible. it was taken in mid march. gloves, hat, wind pants, jacket, a beer in my hand. friends in largo had their water freeze that year, three years ago. last year was cool, so cool our furnace came on and I had to shake my head and say when do we get rid of this place?

  12. The more human activities that are entrusted to the state under the pseudo-management of politicians (or commissars), the more corruption we see. Science is a classic example and one that CAGW hysteria has showcased so well. The alignment of statism and exclusive CAGW conformity is a near perfect symbiosis. Not a penny of public funding should go to climate or any other “science”.

  13. Too bad the Lethbridge Herald Poll is closed…if there is to be any investment in “alternate energy”..it should be in Nuclear Research. IN particular, the use of Liquid Salt Thorium Reactors. That technology (1940’s), holds the promise of good clean and endless BASELOAD power…something that wind and solar will NEVER be able to provide. thorium is abundant on this planet, does not require water in order to cool the reaction, is fully consumed in the process and one cannot weaponize it…which is why the United States went with fissile U235 – they could make bombs with it.
    cheers,
