  1. Well, we will just have to carry on. Hopefully Durant’s injury will inspire the rest of the team to put out 110%.

  2. I understand your pain.
Hopefully his repair will last longer than Travis Lulays did.
Almost a full game after almost a year of rehab. The league will miss the good QB’s
As the season heads for the playoffs.

  3. Damn,I hate to see any CFL team lose their starting Q/B, as often the backup isn’t capable of replacing him. In Sask’s case, though, that kid Sunterri looks like he can take the team to the Grey Cup.
Just to beef up the team, the Roughriders management should pick up the recent NFL castoffs, the gay fellow and the wife beater.

  4. I didn’t realize that you Canadians liked Football I thought you guys were all into that soccer crap…

  5. What irks me is that we now have 5 channels of TSN and all they seem to show is NFL football and replays of last weekend’s CFL games (when they are not showing poker). All this while there are exciting pennant races in almost every division in baseball. What’s the point of all these channels?

  6. Don – Tell you what, you take the wife-beater, and we’ll take the guy who is light in his cleats. It will attract a lot more fans and keep the stadium full to the brim. Don’t know what will become of the cheerleaders, though!

  7. Not to detract from a star QB but is he on the same Canadian Healthcare We’ve known to love, wait list? Let the “Friends of Medicare” figure that one out…

  8. Agreed.
Baseball has some great races going on but all we get are the blue jays who are on their way to missing the playoffs for the 22nd straight year. But hey they play in that tough east division……bums like the leafs.
Can’t get excited over the CFL.

  9. I missed the hit that took DD out of the game. I hope it wasn’t a dirty hit like the one on Cornish. I was hoping that DD would be back in when the Roughies meet the Stamps. Not as much fun watching a second stringer in a loosing effort against the Stamps. Get well soon DD!! Oh yeah, in case you haven’t noticed… Go Stamps Go!!

  10. The play was blown down and the hit was after the whistle, but i am going to give the defense the benifit of the doubt and say they did not actually hear the whistle as it was quite loud.

  11. TNX Confused. No place in the game for dirty plays, how ever I was in the fourth row in the stadium here in Calgary one game. Loud didn’t cover it. And Calgary is quiet compared to Sask or now Winterpeg.
    cheers
