  1. tougher sentences, so what are they going to do to make those sweat logs tuffer????
just restrict liquor, gasoline, and sani-flush on the res’

  2. Have to wonder if our betters are beginning to run out of catchy clever names for these publically funded traveling road shows?

  3. Disband all reservers, all Indian bands, and make them join the real world of us taxpayers. We b1tch about the Negros being kept down on the plantations, when we have the same problem here, only ours is inbred Indians on a reserve.e5

  4. That’s easy. Writing reports for a six figure income is a very attractive gig. Lots of folks want on board.

  5. What’s the expression? 41 is the charm.
Indian women live in Indian society which is very violent. They are killed by their family and friends. Many of the ones who leave the reserve to save the lives of their kids or themselves enter a high risk lifestyle in the big city and end up dead. Did I leave something out?

  6. What do you expect in a culture where 80% of the people are on artificial heroin paid by tax payers.
It wasn’t so long ago that any Women who married a none Native lost their Native status.
    No Feminists decried it.

  7. Well the Premiers can start by tackling the subject of gangs on reserves, of course that’s a tad harder than doing another study.

  8. More proof Harper and co are not “proper” politicians.
All the lower level parasites are elbowing each other aside in their rush to the contemplated trough.
Feds are not prepared to play.
What with all the real horror in the world and the systemic corruption of the Indian Industry, it is imperative these bottom feeding politicians look real busy solving a non issue.
After all if they are not busy saving the endangered Native Woman, they might have to answer for the shameful Reserve System, the refusal to grant all natives real human rights(as in women cannot own property on some reserves).
Or deal with the open ineptitude and stupidity rampant in our governments.
Far safer to loudly campaign for Inquiry 41.
    Actually thats kind of catchy.

  9. Some of them get so “F”ed Up drinking the Billions of dollars we give them every year they wander off into the wilderness and die of exposure.

  10. Same could be said about alcoholic non-aboriginals as well. Don’t try to make alcoholism a racial issue.

  11. “.. Many of the ones who leave the reserve to save the lives of their kids or themselves enter a high risk lifestyle in the big city and end up dead. Did I leave something out? ..”
ya, scar, you left out the diff twixt the big town and the rez, ie the opportunity

  12. Canadian politics reminds of a whiny woman. She loves to complain about all the ills in her life but doesn’t want to fix said ills. Justin of Shiny Pony fame shows his feminine side and loves to join in the complaining and likewise do nothing about it. PM Harper however is all man and doesn’t do the whine very well. He would rather spend his energy fixing things than whining about them. Unfortunately the press is likewise feminine and thoroughly resents any man who would dare fix things. Thus it is believed that it is far better to have another b1tch session aka an inquiry than to do something about missing women.

  13. http://lordsofthedrinks.com/2013/06/24/why-indians-are-alcoholics-and-asians-cant-drink/
But alcoholism IS a race issue. Some races are not able to process intake of alcohol for the reasons stated in the article at the link.
One local Indian Band Chief has taught that alcohol is poison to Indians to his Band members for at least ten years that I know of.
To Aboriginals of Australia, and north and South America, alcohol is a poison.
This isn’t about racism, but physiology.”So let’s start with the alcoholism part. How come native Americans and Aboriginals are in general more likely to get hooked on booze? It’s all because their bodies usually break down ethanol into water and acid way slower than the other races.”
