The Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed global warming regulations aren’t just about stemming global temperature rises — according to agency’s chief, they are also about “justice” for “communities of color.”
“Carbon pollution standards are an issue of justice,” said EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy in a teleconference call with environmental activists. “If we want to protect communities of color, we need to protect them from climate change.”
McCarthy is referring to the EPA’s proposed rule that would limit carbon dioxide emissions from existing power plants. The agency says the rule will not only help fight global warming, but will also improve public health as coal-fired power plants are shuttered.

It takes a special type of delusion to believe that. We’re talking kool-aid drinking cult worship level of belief.

Er, so what is this connection you speak of? Is it causal? If so, does militarized state violence cause “climate change” and racism? Does racism cause “climate change”? Or, is there some other, unmentioned common cause, or some other sort of connection? Fantasy, perhaps?
Don’t hold your breath for an answer, since, according to Deirdre, the connection, whatever it is, is
“intuitive” only. Translation: “I’m entitled to believe it, even though I cannot tell you what it means, and there is no conceivable evidence for it.” But unintentionally, perhaps, she makes it clear that the so-called “climate crisis” is a tool in the “social justice” toolkit—i.e., its purpose to to serve the redistribution of wealth, from those who own it, to those who don’t but want it, and who will use the machinery of government to get their hands on it.
Puts a whole new meaning on the old saying about letting the eastern ba$tards freeze in the dark… you can shoe horn ‘stupid. into that phrase and it becomes an honest observation.

How will higher electricity prices and electrical brown-outs help ‘communities of colour’? The poorest will be hit hardest by rate hikes and backup generators are expensive.

So now the EPA is going to mandate the old Soviet Union building heating policies whereby you will only have heat and electricity for certain hours during a day. The rest of the time you can wear a parka and eat cold food.

Pretty much nails it. I talked to a woman like that for an hour, about a week ago, and I’m still trying to stop shaking my head. I made a comment that she was talking nonsense and her ideas would destroy Canada’s economy. Her answer? ‘There are other kinds of economies’. Hmmm…like trading shiny bits of glass beads or making candles inside our caves? This world is becoming so totally f*cking insane. There really are no words. And they want our guns too. Gee, I wonder why that is.

Right, and that is no accident. The enemies of civilization have embraced irrationalism. Among their strategies to destroy us is to render speech and thought meaningless and therefore ineffectual. That would leave their beliefs, policies and so on, they think, invulnerable to criticism (which is really so impolite, and racist, anyway). That leaves us—those who still play by the rules, and try to speak clearly and meaningfully, and to provide arguments for our beliefs—with no conceptual footing upon which to resist. The intended effect is to leave us slack-jawed and defenceless.
It works. You cannot deal with them in a civilized manner. Why? Because they have opted out of civilization, and all its requirements on its participants, including the demand on each of us to be rational, to justify our beliefs, and so on. There is no living with the irrationalists.
