Operation Head Explosions

Canada delivers military supplies to Iraq.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper today announced that a Royal Canadian Air Force CC-177 Globemaster III strategic airlifter has completed its first delivery of military equipment, donated by the Republic of Albania, to security forces in Iraq fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
Operation IMPACT is Canada’s contribution to international efforts to deliver military supplies, such as small arms and ammunition, to those fighting ISIL. Staged out of locations in the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe, the Canadian Air Task Force Iraq (CATFI) is working in concert with our Allies – including the United States and the United Kingdom – and the Government of Iraq to provide this critical aid.

  1. Still thinking carpet bombing is the appropriate response to ISIS.
When you have fanatical militaristic death cults, they only way to cure them is blow the living crap out of them until the survivors concede they got it wrong.
Sure worked on Japanese and German militarism. They blow’d up real good and are now two nations with peace provisions within their Constitutions.
    At least for now.

  2. “Still thinking carpet bombing is the appropriate response to ISIS.”
True Fred. But until the Muzzie in Chief of the USAR gets booted, not a hope.In fact, until 99% of our politicians get booted, not a hope.Oh.And blow up the UN also.

  3. Aid to the Iraquis. I suppose we also take a good share of the 3 million Syrian refugees. Agree with Fred. Carpet bomb. All survivors and refugees automatically get dropped into Saudi Arabia. After all they started all this Islamic BS.

  4. “…surely you should be willing to revoke the citizenship of these enemy combatants now.”
Heavens no, that would upset potential Liberal voters that love Bill C-68.
There’s nothing like keeping Liberals at bay with the hopes of violent Islamic rape and the inability to do anything about it.

  5. Oh good let’s give them more guns they can abandon. If you are going to supply weapons then it is the kurds who need them because they fight.

  6. Time we got creative.
    How about pigskin prison uniforms?
    Bacon Burial shrouds?
Set up chain guns in a crossfire configuration on the plaza where; Koran Burning held today at 2PM.
Nor just strip the terrorist of citizenship, deport their families and charge them for the expenses.
When the progressives idiots defend these murderous twits, we send them on a fact finding mission to the Former Syrian/Iraqi border.
    One way ticket .
    These Imans preaching religious hate?
Never to late to practice what they preach, on them.

  7. Col. Ralph Peters, via Zippy:
How do you deal with death cultists? You kill them, you kill the last one, then you kill his pet goat!
    I call that “thorough”.

  8. Sending aid to help fight whatever they call themselves, ISIS or ISIL is one thing but we should also be serious about ridding the country of islamic extremists and their supporters. Those who go off to fight with these murderous thugs should not be allowed back into this country, be they born here or not, and every member of their family who dwell in Canada, call themselves “Canadians”, should have their citizenship revoked and sent packing.

  9. Ford’s nailed the problem. What’s the point in giving weapons to people who will only hand them over to the enemy?

  10. Another solution to ISIS would be some major repurposing of the area they now inhabit.
Consider the future tourist attraction of the Syrian glass plain.

  11. The Peacemaker (a.k.a B-36) would work very well in that role. It would be a good idea if our shipments included a few
    Colt Peacemakers.
It does occur that we are better allies to the US than the US is to us. Oh well – we share the same enemy.

  12. Lt. Col. Peters says it well. He always calls it like it is or should be. Besides being a regular go to guy on Fox, he also writes a regular column in the Armchair General magazine.
I am surprised that Albania is concerned enough to send arms to fight ISIL.

  13. it’s a good thing that the prime minister has his head screwed on straight – anything done to impede or defeat isis/isil is a plus. to remain on the dotted line (middle of the road) is to be inevitably run over.

  14. Unfortunately Billy Sol and Big Jim are not planning operations, but it is a beautiful thought.

  15. The only military ‘supply’ I want to see delivered to the middle east is a nuke. Everything else is a waste of time and resources.
