40 years ago these curfew violators would’ve had their skulls split open by 12:01. But enforcing law and order these days is supposedly raycis. Perhaps a quarantine would be most appropriate in these circumstances.

Yeah, and 40 years ago a cop would shoot you if you didn’t sport a marine haircut too – not really a glowing recommendation for the statecraft that existed when cops used a rowdy protest to work out their prejudices.
Both curfews and rioting are symptoms of failed public policy – in this case the Dem policy of culturing a perennial inner city subsidized underclass literally used as a vote plantation – the cultural makeup of these people is probably less evolved than their grandparents – and it was planned that way. It isn’t about race, it’s about power and exploitation, and if these people act like they come from a designer-made devolved culture it’s because they do. Dems have been pimping the – “blame the man” justification for arrested social development in their constituencies for generations in the inner city – Obama is part of that exploitive cartel – you see the results.
