  1. No, it’s a bit late actually. Hollywood fantasies seem to have played a part in this and the Columbine murders,and probably in many others, but it was easier to blame guns.

    – cannot get laid for whatever reason,
    – hates women and probably fears them,
    – is extremely angry and bitter about life …
    – gets violent/suicidal and kills a bunch of strangers in a public place.
    All that missing is the “Allah Akbar” shout-out.

  12. The “truth” is that there is no defense against a person who unexpectedly decides to kill you regardless of the consequences to them self. Unexpected deadly violence doesn’t relate to the availability of guns or knives or airplanes or pressure cookers filled with steel ball bearings or baseball bats or Samuri swords or rat poison or antifreeze or a speeding car driven into a crowd, etc. All it takes is a will to accomplish it. The tool to accomplish the task will be found.
    Today, I’m thinking a sharpened spade will be adequate. A jab to the neck, a swing to the head………

    So now another mass murder in a Liberal “gun free zone”, they should really rethink their prohibition on guns.
    Poor little Roger wanted to date UCLA beach body blonds, he should have tried Chinatown, or the barrio in East LA, I have a feeling he may have been somewhat luckier – but alas I digress.

Lemme see here now, we have a sociopathic kid emasculated by uber-prog PC culture and put onto the idea about teen empowerment through killing via a movie his Dad directed, written for teens by an author who lives in Sandy Hook, going on a revenge spree where he stabbed a bunch of people hunger games style – and gets his self dusted by trigger happy cops and the Dad blames the NRA and the 2nd amendment – no better display of the surrealism of hollywierd creeping into their world view/politics and the fact the whole illusion industry is employed by anti-American Washington gangsters.
    It is the epitome of a culture of delusion. Blame our unwillingness to confront reality – the reality there are psychopaths and the best way to deal with them is liquidate them with extreme prejudice, in the immediate absence of police, the armed citizen will stand in to mitigate the threat.

  17. From BBC: Earlier, Peter Rodger’s lawyer, Alan Shifman, said that the “family believes the child was the perpetrator”. He said Mr Rodger’s son had been “diagnosed at an earlier age of being a highly functional Asperger Syndrome child”, had trouble making friends and had been receiving professional help.
    I’m so thankful for a non-Hollywood childhood!

    Of course most won’t be products of an elitist life style where parents can indulge their children to the point where they expect to be kings. The letter he left behind with possibly three more murders explains itself.
    This folks is “progressivism” at its end point.
    No belief in God, no hope, Viewing others as extensions of your own passions.
    Never reared with not one iota of empathy or remorse. Just relativism with no values. Money being the focus, not others.
    The leftist parents made their own son 6 times the monster that Stalin with others would praise.

  19. rev,read walterF’s post. If this kid was autistic and on meds for his affliction then your post comes across even more BS sounding than if he wasn’t. It appears that meds play a part in most if not all such mass murders. The “sandy hook” shooters was also said to have possibly been an autistic (aspergers) and had been on meds for it. So, this probably has nothing to do with “religion”, and certainly nothing to do with China’s one child policy.

    He seemed to have “some” social connections, just not the ones he really, really wanted.
    Apparently the first three victims were male and in his residence, he killed them with an unregistered knife. Another male was run over with his registered BMW receiving two broken legs, and then 2 women and one male killed with a pistol (registration yet to be politicized).
    Totalling four wounded by registered vehicle and eight by potentially legal/illegal gunshot wounds.
    Yup it’s Hollywood at it’s finest.

  22. As I put onto the CBC site: We now get to wait for the progressive social engineers to dictate that all the beautiful people in our society need to go through sensitivity training to assist them in having more empathy for the shunned of our society and thus maybe preventing such tragedies
    IOW I am waiting for the east / west coast idiots to lobby for laws that dweebs / losers / / democrats / insert your choice of affliction, should be given sympathy f..ks.
    But I doubt that will happen as that would mean the perfect elites would have to rub skin and breath the same air of the unwashed masses

  24. These facts will not be allowed to get in the way of campaign to demonize gun owners. Do you believe for a moment that Mr Martinez, the father of one of the victims, would have been given extended time on CBC coverage of the story had he simply been grieving the loss of his son? The whole point of featuring Martinez was his rant against the NRA.
    One of the drawbacks to the championing of “victim’s rights” — in general a positive swing of the pendulum in criminal matters — is that we can foolishly invest the expressions of victims or their families with a “moral authority” that is not merited, or, worse, with an immunity from questions or criticism. Martinez was talking nonsense, and even a devastating personal loss on his part, or the natural sympathy any of us feels for a person who has lost a child, can alter that fact.
