After Carney failed Thursday to paint Benghazi as a “Fox” story, after even MSNBC’s Morning Joe blasted that line of reasoning, perhaps…perhaps, we’ll get to the reason why four Americans were killed in Benghazi after every single credible indicator said, “Danger, Will Robinson, danger!”

This story should already be over – it should have already cost Obama the 2012 election. The GOP was handed a gift – then they totally dropped the ball; Romney should have buried Obama over this – instead he did his deer in the headlights routine when Candy Crowley enabled the false narrative/lie surrounding the Benghazi attack. Yes he would have been branded a racist – instead he played it safe and tried to ride his success in the first debate. He should have buried Obama during the second debate.
This administration has consistently misled/lied to the American public. Unfortunately, the only way they will be held truly accountable is if the media turns on Obama/Clinton because the public holds the media accountable for enabling outright falsehoods, forcing them to throw the Dems under the bus to save themselves. That’s unlikely to happen for two reasons: first, the media will bury this story for Obama and Clinton to escape culpability; secondly, the Republicans lack the testicular fortitude to take this on and risk the inevitable racist accusations. They will play it safe again IOW; and lose – again.
Until and unless, the full scope of the Benghazi disaster comes to light, with the administration being caught red handed involving diplomatic staff in arms transfers (the yet untold story), they will ride this out no problem.
