      1. As a former restaurant designer in the late 70’s, it must be difficult for corporate heads to figure out which way the consumer is going. In the 70’s, the Keg was the Keg and Cleaver and had lots of farm implements on the wall (still great steak and surf’n’turf!)
        In today’s market, it has become very expensive to go out for dinner, especially so with a family. When I was growing up in the 60’s, our family went out twice a year. Once in June for our parents’ wedding anniversary and then on New Year’s Day to the Viking Buffet in Edmonton, Alberta. Perhaps our society will be going back to that model of dining. Mind you, there are still many people who spend their money foolishly on expensive morning coffees and going out for lunch every day.

        1. May I suggest she did not resign a year ago because all her bonuses, pensions and golden parachute would not have vested then. So she stuck around for another year, until they did, bleeding the corporation of further profits.
